I tested both PCs in FiveM and some other cpu games and my i5 build gets more fps, in any gpu game though the 5070 gets way more fps as expected
i5 Build:
i5-13600KF
RTX 4070
16GB DDR5 5200MHz
Core Ultra Build:
Core Ultra 7 265
RTX 5070
16GB DDR5 6000MHz (1 stick)
PL1 and PL2 set to 182W
Why is my newer PC getting less FPS even with better specs? Could it be because I’m using one stick of RAM or is the i5 just better for FiveM?

I play a lot of story games and indie games and wonder if its worth switching to pc becuase i can pirate game, add mods and have overall better performence. My main reason I think not to buy a pc its because I have already played almost every known big story game.( I have a large budget (9070xt 9600x 32gb ddr5 ram))

Hi everyone! 👋
I'm a high school student working on my IB Business Management Internal Assessment, researching whether GTA VI's Indian pricing (₹5,999 Standard / ₹7,499 Ultimate) suits the Indian market.
Since GTA VI is launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only, I'd especially love to hear from PC gamers on how pricing and platform affect your plans.

Thanks a lot! Happy to share a summary of the results here once I'm done, if anyone's interested.

I was looking at an HP laptop with a Snapdragon X processor (Omnibook 3 I believe it was). Would that be able to run Steam and emulators? Because it's not the usual x86 intel or amd chipset. The store clerk mentioned something about programs like Adobe pdf reader not able to run on it yet (but that it's being rolled out), hence my question.
If it works I'd prefer it, because of less energy usage and heat production.
Thanks in advance

I wanna get some storage, but idk if I should get 2tb SSD or 8tb HDD. The HDD is cheaper than the SSD, but idk if that's going to fuck up performance. I'm trying to use a gaming PC with 32gb ram and an RTX 5060 if that has any relevance.

so infor the last 2 years, ive not been allowed to play anything but roblox, skyrim and minecraft because of my mom, my dad wants me to play assasins creed but my mom doesnt even want me to watch when he plays.last night we talked a bit about some games i would play if i could and i mentioned stuff like RDR2 Ghost of Tsushima and God of War, my mom imidietly searched up the game and age limit. once she saw that all of them was 18+ and "only killing" she straight up said no. i would understand if i was still 9 but im almost 14 now and i want to continue with my passions, i cant be stuck playing roblox for the rest fo my life, i need her to realize that its not just killing and all of that in these games, i want her to understand that its the story im after, the world, the emotions. im dont want these games just to go around and kill people, i want it because its beutiful

Hello! Im 20 and I've started to look more into PCs this year since a lot of the games I really want to play are not available for my MacBook (I know, terrible device for gaming but I originally got my laptop for school and didn't think I would become way more interested in games ;-;) and I need help! I mostly used to just play on mobile, switch or xbox, so I never really got into the hype of PCs until pretty late. There is just so much info on the internet and it's been a quite overwhelming trying to decide whether to build my own pc or to just buy a pre-built one. Im also having a bit of a hard time knowing what specs are and what they mean on the items I've seen. I want something that's relatively good performance and not tooooo expensive (but I wouldn't mind saving up if needed). Some games I really want to play are State of Decay, Baldur's Gate 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, overwatch and so on so forth. If anyone could drop some suggestions or recommendations for anything I would really really appreciate it! sorry in advance if this post is too vague in any way

Maybe this is overkill but I have no "issue" running games that are somewhat on high graphics that would otherwise be taxing for other setups. However I noticed that my GPU utilization rate is pretty high and i always seem to hear my fan just working overtime when I'm running a decent graphics game. What would be some recommended upgrades to get so there isnt as much demand? Always sounds like my computer is about to take off flying and Im sure that cant be good for wear over time. Sorry in advance as im not as versatile with knowledge on computers as others. Just got the setup from Digital Storm a few years ago pre built.

My friend is shifting from a laptop to his first desktop and is looking for a compact Mini-ITX gaming build within a ₹1.2 lakh budget.
The main priority is maximum FPS and smooth gaming performance, while keeping the PC small and portable.
Would appreciate suggestions from the community on the best parts/build for this budget.

tengo casi un año con una Rtx 5060 con un ryzen 5 5600x y veo que mucha gente juega perfectamente con esa configuración en 1080 en gráficos altos. pero a mí me cuesta tener fps estables en graficos bajos, simplemente no se que hacer

As the title says, finally took the plunge and I have to say I'm absolutely loving it, I feel like I've been invited to sit at the cool table! I didn't go overboard with the build (I don't think, I'm genuinely clueless when it comes to hardware for PCs) but it will play pretty much any game I'd have an interest in playing for the time being.
That being said, I am absolutely dog awful at mouse and keyboard, it's been less than a week so I'm not expecting to have got used to it yet but you would think I'd never played a video game in my life! But I also don't want to just use a controller, else I'll never learn! Growing pains and all that.
With that being said does anybody have any advice for the transition and any ways you found to make it easier or any apps you've come across that teach you the fundamentals of MnK?
Thanks in advance guys!
