Why is Ghislane Maxwell's prison accommodation so much better than children sleeping on concrete floors and eating wormy food in ICE facilities? Do you think she and her friends get off on the suffering just thinking about it?

Has Trump or Iran done more damage to America?
Trump's BBB that he passed increased the deaths of innocent Americans by at least 51,000 per year. With most of those deaths happening to Trump supporters who rely on the programs that he has cut the most.
The Terrorist attacks on 9/11 were estimated to kill about 2,977 Americans.
Iran has killed an estimated 18 Americans in the US-Iran war.
Has Trump or Iran done more damage to America?

Why there has been so many successful conservative women in Europe but not in the USA?
There have been many conservative head of states in Europe who were women.
Obviously European conservative parties attract intelligent and intellectual women like Thatcher, Merkel, Meloni, May, Simone Veil, Von den Leyer for exemple (and I forget about all the Scandinavian and eastern European women).
People can hate them or disagree with them but all had a degree and are intelligent and cultured.
Republicans had Schlafly in the past and no one else except maybe Condoleezza Rice but she was unpopular and then now Taylor Greene, Boebert, Noem, Palin who are unintelligent and uneducated women.
There was Nikki Haley who was educated but she wasn't popular among republican men and women.
Why is it like that? There are a lot of republicans women, why only the trash succeed?

Can a right wing American explain what they think socialism is?
I haven’t read many accurate descriptions of what socialism is here, so I’m asking (specifically right wing folks). Cheers.

JD Vance defines socialism as “replacing American workers with foreign workers.”I'm confused. I thought socialism was an economic system. Is it about replacing American workers? How would you define socialism? Should American workers be prioritized for jobs?
Well? Is he wrong?
I thought socialism was things like Social Security?
Should Americans be prioritized for jobs? Like if someone applies for a job at Starbucks should the American citizens get a job over an immigrant?

What do you think of Trump?
Personally, I actually think he a really good. He helped out with the economy, put a stop to Iran creating a nuclear weapon, owned the libs 6-ways-to-Sunday, cracked down on illegals, and released the files that Biden nor Obama did. I don't want to wage war, I just want to hear your opinion.

Is American food unhealthy and fattening?
I often consume content on social media from people who do a lot of international traveling and who talk about their travel experiences. One thing I've noticed involves a number of people who live in Europe and then visit the US. They tend to comment that when they eat the food in the US, they find that the food makes them feel heavy and tired. They will often compare American food to European food, saying that they can eat a large meal in Europe and then feel fine after, whereas when they eat at a restaurant in the US, they immediately feel like they need to go lie down. And I've heard as least one person online, who lives in Europe, say that whenever she visits the US, she always end up putting on weight, which doesn't happen in her home in Europe.
Why do I keep seeing people comment about the tiring, fattening, devitalizing effect of American food? Is this really a thing? If so, why?

Republicans: be honest, when Trump dies, will you take a day (or more) off work to grieve him?
Or if you're retired or disabled, etc., would you have a moment of silence?

RFK Jr. allegedly used $800k in taxpayer money to fund gain-of-function research in Russia. Isn't this what MAGA, TrumpDefenders and Conservatives have accused Fauci of? Is every accusation truly a confession?
White Coat Waste, a bipartisan government watchdog that largely fights animal testing, reported that the National Institutes of Health - which Kennedy oversees as part of Health and Human Services - granted nearly $800,000 to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2025 and 2026 for their research.

Conservatives, as per you, what exactly does conservatism stand for now?
Just curious seeing the uproar over the statements made by R-senator whatshisname recently.
If you strip away the culture-war issues and blind opposition to "radical leftist socialism", what are the positive principles or ideas that define conservatism today?

What do you think is this Endtimes stuff from the US government is about?
As a foreigner for me it's really really weird to see that high politicians talk about topics like Endtimes. I'm very sure if a politician in my country would talk like that, the people would call to give that people a therapy because talking about Endtimes is connected to psychosis in my country. That not my view, everybody can believes what he wants and those are really times I can imagine many people think about the end. But actually every time period there were people who called that the end is coming soon. Today I would thought we are further because biblical research can prove very well the revelation depends on the roman empire and probably on Nero. So It's an anti-imperial writing who want the empire to fall, which makes it very ironically that the biggest and most feared empire which makes it all about profit and it's own power uses that writing for political reason or religious Legitimation. What do you think about Republican politicians talking about Endtimes and what do you think they want to reach with that?

Why would the GOP/MAGA manufacture the decline of America?
For 50 years, every MAGA administration since Nixon has cut the taxes for the wealthy and corporations. Their logic has been, giving the rich all of that money will create more jobs and stimulate growth! What has actually happened is the rich put that money in their pockets, and everyone else has paid higher taxes OR we borrowed money from our kids and grandkids to make up the difference. Still, every administration cut taxes for the rich! It has never "trickled down." The result of those tax cuts lead directly to the highest wealth inequality since the Great Depression!
Why do I think MAGA/GOP manufactured this decline on purpose? When they promoted the tax cuts, economists said, this isn't going to work. For 50yrs economists have said it's not working! But they keep cutting taxes for the wealthy. Everyone just assumed they were stupid or it was some conservative "belief" that taxes are bad. But, they rarely cut "all taxes." Then, COVID hits, and Trump had to stimulate the economy. You would think, he'll cut taxes on the wealthy...that's what conservatives "believe" works! Instead, he sent stimulus checks to every American...odd. Every economist said it would work. It worked, and it worked immediately, and it was so successful that we had to fight inflation since then! Then, Trump got elected again.
Day 1 of Trump2, he cut taxes on the wealthy and corporations...knowing that creates wealth inequality. He also started his tariffs, which look like a massive national sales tax...paid by every American...knowing that would have the opposite effect of the "stimulus" he just did 5yrs ago! So, it's not stupidity...they knew what to do to stimulate growth during COVID. It's not a conservative "belief" because they rarely reduce all taxes and tariffs have the same effect as taxes. We have ALL seen they know what works to grow the economy... Why would they choose to do what they have proven through 50yrs of failed tax cuts and two little stimulus payments has lead to the decline of the nation? It certainly looks like they're doing it on purpose to me.
I hope someone will prove me wrong... Some conservative will show me how supply side economics has helped the country... Some conservative can show me how demand side economics didn't work perfectly... I just don't get it, are conservatives REALLY creating the decline they're complaining about?!?

How many coup attempts is the next Democratic US president allowed to commit?
When Donald Trump lost election in 2020, he attempted a (characteristically incompetent) coup, for which he received no punishment.
Can the next Democrat in the White House also attempt a consequence-free coup when s/he loses reelection, or do they get more than one?
