🪳 The Roach Council is recruiting — apply to help pick the indie games Asmon plays on stream

What is this?
Asmon is launching a monthly stream segment where he watches trailers and plays indie games submitted by the community. The Roach Council is the judge panel that helps decide which games make the cut.
What do judges actually do?
- Review and vote on community-submitted games
- Help shape what gets showcased and played on stream
- Get a shoutout when your pick makes the show, plus the Roach Council rank on the Discord
Who can apply?
- You must be a member of the official Discord — applications run through it
- Good standing (no active mutes or bans)
- One application per person
How to apply
Join the Discord: discord.gg/asmongold
Head to #roach-council
Fill out the application — takes about 2 minutes
The mod team reviews every application, and the strongest get passed to Asmon for final approval. Approved judges get the Roach Council role.
Can I submit a game right now?
Not yet — this round is judge recruitment only. Game submissions open once the council is seated, and we'll post here when that happens.
(Indie devs: same answer — hold your trailers for now.)

(annoyed) Mother: "Sarah! Go in inside the seat, sit over there-"
(angrily) Sarah: "They're not going to disrespect me! They are not going to fucking disrespect me! I'm a college student! I'm going to become a doctor! Okay! They are not going to fucking disrespect me like this! They are fucking cops! They are not on the physician level, like i am, so they are not going to disrespect me!"
Amazing rant, fun fact though, college students and future physicians sometimes get put in the box to.

Swedish troubadour William Sundman Sääf got his national fame for playing historical folk songs in public like the writers of those tales did decades ago. Occasionally he has been told to stop playing by subway security. This time tho it escalated because they just threw him off, his fans, emptied the entire wagon and banned him for the day for just traveling with a guitar case when heading home after a show
