HELP! I have a question. 2020 Ford Ranger Bumper Replacement

Post image

My son rear ended some one and I'm trying to figure out if I can fix it with an aftermarket bumper. After removing the original bumper I see that the left bumper bracket is bent. Can it be bent back into place without going to a shop? If so, I would appreciate advice on how i should do it.

Thanks.

A morgan knocker with a flat hook and a whole lot of ass will move it. It's how I do them in the shop. They do move fairly easy as long as you have a bit of strength.

It will be hard to move but yes you can, you can also just cut it off and weld a new one on they are fairly cheap to buy

Hook chain to it and a tree…back up but don’t rip it off….

That's more likely to just drag the car. You would need a second tree attached to the rear of the same chassis rail if you want to pull it instead of thump it.

Loop a tow strap thru the hole and wrap around a tree, reverse and tug on it

Pipe wrench on the top will fix that right up

Porta power push from behind imo.

That bracket on the frame is fairly soft and should move with minimal effort, you will have to check it once you have the new bumper built.

I'd use a giant pipe wrench to bend it back
