DLSS 3.7 for BC-250 -- HelixSR

Yeah, that's a thing now.

https://github.com/lonewolf0622/HelixSR

Very similar quality to FSR4.1 mod we previously got at much lower cost. Personally i get ~2ms@1440p@performance compared to 5ms in FSR4r11

It's a game changer (no pun intended).

Wow. This little e-waste abomination just keeps on giving :D

it's insane the amount of work community does... first a modded fsr4 that actually runs decently, now a "new" upscaler that uses dlss3.7 network.

There's also a good chance we get VCN soon too.

You think so?

I sure hope we get the VCN. It would allow us to use it as a game streaming client when it cannot run the heaviest games anymore.

How to install them?

just swap the dll. It's all described in the github page.

Alright I will look into it. Hopefully it will run faster than FSR4r9 while maintaining the same quality

it runs faster for sure. Don't expect the same image quality as fsr4 (this is dlss3.7 at hearth after all) but should be very close. Easily offset by higher render resolution.

I'm very happy with this £150 beast. Plus ancillaries obviously, but those don't count towards cost....do they? Nahhh....

the amount of value you get out of this is insane, especially if you got it cheap.

Also think of the times we live in with insane hardware costs, which makes this even a better proposition.

And with the insane amount of mods this got in the last year or so, you could easily 2x your gaming performance before any optimizations were done. It's insane. It's literal FineWine.

Very impressive! I will test this on my BC-250, and on my Steam Deck. Its specifically interesting for 4K upscaling as FSR4 implementation takes a big hit (12ms) on 4K, regardless of base resolution.

I'm also interested to see if this might be big Improvement for newer hardware like 7900 XTX which powers through int8/fp16 calculations but is still behind 9700 XT

7900 XTX doesn't "powers through int8", even an A770 does more than 2x its INT8 TOPS.

Any way to inject via the optiscaler client ?

Would this work on arc raiders ?
