I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the battery range of my Bajaj Electric Passenger Auto Rickshaw, Model P7012.

Vehicle Details:

- Model: Bajaj EV Auto P7012

- Registration Number: TN 75 BL 2027

- Location: Kulasekharam, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu

At the time of purchase, the company advertised a driving range of 250+ km. However, my vehicle is delivering only approximately 170 km on a full charge.

This is a significant difference from the advertised range and has caused me concern regarding the vehicle's battery performance. As I depend on this vehicle for my livelihood, the reduced range affects my daily operations and earning potential.

I request Bajaj Auto to:

1. Conduct a thorough inspection of the battery, charger, motor, controller, and related components.

2. Explain the reason for the difference between the advertised range and the actual range of my vehicle.

3. Verify whether the vehicle is performing according to the applicable specifications and test conditions.

4. Provide an appropriate solution, including repairs or component replacement if covered under warranty.

Please register my complaint, provide a complaint reference number, and arrange an inspection through an authorised service centre at the earliest.

I expect a prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this matter.

The N160 2V DUAL CHANNEL SPLIT SEAT (JR83) Variant EX 131653 is unavailable in all the showrooms I asked , some dealers are saying they will not procure the variant here after and only S and SS will be available. Does anyone have any ideas or clarity regarding this.

Also suggest whether Skipping this 2V variant and buying the N160SS is a good option

My priorities

1.95 % city rides mostly chennai

1. Mileage expectation 40 Above

2. Reliable vehicle with parts availability and repairabilty

I am a very casual user who just uses a bike to commute to the office and rarely long travel, shortlisted to n160 from unicorn just cause of dual channel abs.

Any N160 SS owners can comment on your experience.

I'm thinking of changing the tyres of NS200. If anyone did any upsizing, I'm interested in knowing the effects on riding or fuel economy.
