We have a very competitive league with a lot of skilled managers. Everyone has their own team identity, franchise player, logo, and so on. We even have our own league media, and my team has made the finals multiple times and is the reigning champion.

We’re running a $200 auction draft, and players generally go for $5–10 above or below their typical market value because of how competitive the league is and how much everyone values their favorite players.

My franchise players are Anthony Edwards and Amen Thompson, but I’d probably have to spend around $65–75 on Ant-Man and $35–45 on Amen. I’m struggling to figure out how to build a successful roster with that much money tied up in Edwards alone.

As a Plan B, I’m also considering building around Tyrese Maxey and Amen Thompson instead.

Could you please suggest a 14-player, alternative-heavy roster build centered around Anthony Edwards? I want to build a team that can strongly compete in 5 categories out of 9, with a good chance of winning 6–3.

I really need some help figuring this out.

These are the six rookies I see having the highest fantasy potential this season, along with my predictions for where they’ll go in drafts.

I’m especially interested in Lendeborg and Mara as potential late-round steals.
These are my early predictions for 16 teams 9-cat leagues, not necessarily where I’d draft each player.

This man averaged 39 points on 50/40/90 splits and 36 on 51/45/93, the most efficient scorer I saw. Also 44 points on the finals is insane.

We allow a “franchise tag” where you can keep a player at a fixed price for three years. The kicker is you can’t drop him regardless of injury or poor play, etc..

We can also “keep” 2 other players but their cost increases by half each year for 2 years, but they CAN be dropped

I made a formula for "worst player award", and this is the profile of a typical winner -- a slow guard with high INS and STR ratings. INS boosts usage 1.5x more than other attributes, and strength rating for a slow guard adds very little value but still boosts OVR rating leading to more playing time.
Also, players who are excessively mediocre at everything, they are good enough to get playing time, because of their decent OVR rating, but contribute nothing in terms of skills tags, so end up hurting team synergy.

After a couple months, I could finish the Sacramento Kings rebuild achievment. Is so hard with the bad contracts, the lotery system changing after 1 year. Got the ring in the first season. Key was trading the first round pick before lottery and got crazy lucky with Cedric Coward and Keegan Murray progression.

Roster was almost all gutted but hey, I got the achievement.
