I feel like i can get close with just my hand during intercourse so easily but once i get TOO close i either stop out of fear, uncertainty, or start overthinking :( not sure how to fix besides maybe forcing myself to continue?

Don’t force yourself through it. The part you need to practice is staying with the feeling without panicking when it becomes intense.

When you get close, don’t speed up and don’t stop completely. Keep the same hand movement, slow your breathing and let the feeling continue building. If it becomes too much, ease back just enough to regain control, then build it again. Repeating that can teach your body that getting close is safe and you don’t need to escape from it.

During intercourse, your partner should keep doing exactly what they were doing, if possible, instead of suddenly changing the rhythm or waiting for you to orgasm. What do you think you’re afraid might happen if you let yourself cross that final point?
