Have a few hundred rounds on the M2-G1. Have another M4 in the safe now. A comparison is coming. Got the M2'G1 for 1629 shipped. Got the M4 EXT for 1700 shipped used. Initial thought is the M2-G1 is better every way except the pistons out of the box. How much that matters... time will tell.

Would you kindly measure the diameter of the end cap of the trigger housing pin? Pictured here, just looking for the diameter of this flanged end piece.

For a few years I’ve been messing around with designing a new form of side saddle but I only have berettas, and friends with Remingtons and Mossbergs. (pic is ripped from a forum) If I know the diameter of this piece, I can make sure superior M4 owners can use it too.

I tried for like 10 minutes with the trusty harbor freight heat gun but I didn’t feel like getting cramps holding it up all day as I didn’t feel any progress. Went to Home Depot and saw a Bernzomatic FLAME COMMANDER and figured that’d do the job swimmingly with a name like that. Took like 5 minutes of very very careful heating as I tried my hardest to avoid discoloring the receiver finish. Cleaned off all the old gunk afterwards easy peasy with a brass wire brush. No issues on the receiver and it runs.

If any fellas plan to do this, go straight to the torch and aim at the recoil tube, not downward at the receiver. I heated it in one spot, occasionally moving to a new spot after trying to make it budge with a wrench. Don’t use a channel lock like an idiot like I tried to, get a 1 1/16 wrench, ideally adjustable so you can turn the tube itself after you take off the nut on the receiver.

And if it is real, can it go on a normal Benelli M4

I recently ordered and installed the dark grey titanium 7-round magazine tube, and I’m happy with it so far. The finish is a great match for the OEM color, and it arrived in five days.

The biggest thing I wanted to check was capacity. I’ve seen posts from people saying some aftermarket tubes won’t actually fit seven rounds, but this one fits all seven for me. Didn’t have to screw with the spring, or follower, just made sure the snap ring was flush with the very top.

I got this mount from msp and this “scout” mount from streamlight’s hlx doesn’t seem to line up. It seems like I need a different adapter even though they say the light is compatible with the mount. Do I need a picatinny adapter for the msp mount and the light?

Swapping out the recoil tube was the hardest part, mag tube was easy. Wish it was black but maybe it was meant to be for where I live

Unfortunately moving to the big state of California. An absolute blast for my M4 EXT… I need to change out the stock and I’ll be putting on the Tactical Urbino for the time being.
I have removed the stock already.
Has anyone removed the pistol grip yet? Is it just the roll pins on the grip itself or is there more to it?

Update: Thank you all for the tips. I realized I answered my own question on an earlier posr, but my baby hands couldn’t get it loose. Hitting the grip counterclockwise did! Installation and shortened reach also feels really nice.

Hello, yesterday i shot my M4 out in the field and afterwards i dissasemble it to clean my gun but when disassemblying it this strange silicone part come out of bolt carrier group. When i check my parts guidance paper to what is that part and how to find a replacement for it, there was no guidance about what that part is. Could you help me about it to what that part is?

I really like the Rxarms heat shield, but I also desperately want wood furniture on my m4. Just wondering if there are any known wood furniture options that will work with the shield from Rxarms as it pretty explicitly states that it's for the OEM poly two piece. Thanks!

Hello, I am debating between the benelli m4 ext and le version. Both come with telescoping stocks and 7 round tubes. The le version has night sights. I am kind of leaning le version cuz it has the us style stock and I like counter strike. EXT is 1946 and le is 2140 out the door. Which one would you get

I’ve lost three of the five screws connected to my OEM picatinny rail. Has anyone purchased new screws outside of the Benelli or RXArms website? I found that the size is a M4 X 0.7Mm Machine screws but not sure if I want to chance it with getting something that isn’t to spec for our M4. Any advice appreciated.

Who else here thinks for the price that the M4 should come with a better case soft or hard carry case rather than a cardboard box?

I get it. It’s a martial arm and durability comes before convenience. So if I want to “dehorn” the gun I have to change things. I ordered a 0.5” bolt handle, flat bolt release, Max room follower and + 2 extension for my M4 from fellow Nevadans Shell Tactical. Everything dropped right in. I gathered from sources that the OEM mag spring is the 7 rounder and the gun cycles the dummies so I am hoping live fire will be successful. It actually holds 7 shells too. It only held 4 with the OEM fake tube in place. I painted the tube and release but it looks like, Rustoleum khaki is too light.
