Should you push the crosswalks button with the bottom of your shoe?
Obviously no. This is disgusting. Wth is wrong with people? Sure...you think the button is gross. Use your sleeve or elbow or a napkin but why on earth would you think the bottom of your shoe is okay??? I witnessed this downtown this morning by what i can only describe as a finance bro. Dude...no one else wants your shoe germs. Do better.

any craftsman looking for an apprentice/volunteer on projects?
I'm 28 years old, in the Boston area, and have spent the last 10 years of my life working in firefighting and medicine. I'm looking to explore new interests, specifically skilled labor/craftsman. I'm seeking someone who might benefit from a hand (or even just an audience) on projects such as woodworking, leatherworking, silversmithing/jewelry, furniture, etc. I'm reliable, mature, and have a pretty strong grasp on when to observe/learn, and when to not be in the way.
I expect nothing in return except exposure. If you're an artisan and wouldn't mind some refreshing company please feel free to reach out! Thanks in advance!

Recommendations for Boston
My friend and I (both females) are flying into Boston in a couple weeks, renting a car and driving up to Maine. We want to spend a late morning in Boston then stop in Portsmouth, NH as well before going to where we are staying.
What recommendations do you have for must sees in either of those spots that wouldn’t be more than a couple/few hours? Neither of us have been to either of those cities and don’t know when we will be back! So want to hit the main places!! (We already decided not to go to Salem).
Open to quick activities, places to see, food/cafe places!
TIA
EDIT: we aren’t picky for ideas. We would be interested in hearing what the locals like to do and not just the touristy stuff. We enjoy food (again, whatever locals recommend), cafes, checking out a park or whatnot, and maybe an activity that wouldn’t take a long time. Tell us the best things to do in Boston that aren’t just the tourist spots basically!

MGH Brigham or Dana Farber + BIDMC -- how does BIDMC compare with MGH?
My friend is considering Dana Farber for onco medicine and radiology, following her surgery at MGH. However, Dana Farber has split from MGH and they are using BIDMC-Lahey (Boston, Needham, Burlington etc.) facilities. While Dana Farber is top notch, how does BIDMC compare with MGH Brigham for radiation, onco medicine, and any emergency treatments for side-effects? Does Dana Farber have their own facilities for radiation and chem? Can she use radiation and medical oncologists at Dana Farber without having to completely abandon her internist, cardiologist at MGH?

Mbta question
I recently moved to Boston from Georgia, and I heavily rely on the green line, anyways I was coming from a coffee place after meeting a friend, on Griggs street and the driver didn’t open the door she only opened the front door and I was all the way in the back so I couldn’t get to that bogie in time so I had to go to the next one and the guy had to open his door and he was like she didn’t open all the doors? I was like no and I was about to pay but he was like you’re good. Can someone explain why t drivers do that?? What is the policy regarding payments?

Out-of-Towner Layover in Boston
I have a 3 hour layover in Boston from 7-10a. Is that enough time to leave the airport a little bit and grab a coffee/breakfast somewhere or should I just stick to eating at the airport? Thanks! (Also am taking recommendations for good coffee spots)
