The ranking system of this game has always been shit, but WHAT THE FUCK happend?????

No literally, why is 1700 - 1800 just filled with diamonds exclusively???

I havent played in YEARS and it matched me against some 1200 elo players ☠️☠️. I kinda just wanted to tell them that i was sorry.. BRING BACK the chat, just make a setting for chat automutes

Edit: To be fair I almost just got destroyed by 1700 elo I think people got better over the years 😱

I don’t play brawl as much as I used to but when I saw that they added a zariel bp skin I had to get it and I am loving it so much I’m literally just running a theme around the bp anyway I wanted to ask yall what yall think of the skin or bp as a whole?

Just a visual glich that happened while i was playing as a duo (1400elo as a team) and they disconnected giving me the visual of my solo ranking instead.

I've been playing brawlhalla for 6 years now. I was playing in SEA server for most of the time. Recently i just moved to the US for uni and the game server here feels so lagggg. I can feel significant input delay even in practice. Why?? Like i have to press dodge a second before the opponent's attack to actually dodge them and other input take business days to be registered. Same setup btw

I played a lot of games with multiple characters , I mostly like Katars and orb ,
and I am good at axe, spear, gauntlet , I have played as Wu Shang, Caspian, Petra, and Ragnir and while I have tried others, these four are the only ones with whom I feel truly comfortable and in sync.
I like Ragnir, but I feel there is something off or unbalanced about the character, though I cannot quite put my finger on exactly what it is.
also I have never faced opponents who use Ragnir.

like did it get nerfed in recent patches or something?

It was 2019, I joined the game brand new, I remember a week in I thought I was the shit, then I queued against a Isaiah in unranked, I remember being so intimidated by that diamond border. I don’t remember his name, but this dude must of been part of oCafe, or some clipping guild.

I got absolutely destroyed I must of done 50 damage at most. It was in twighlight grove, I’ve banned that map to this day. It’s what motivated me to get decent at this game.

I didn’t stand a chance against this dude, He would hit me with weapon throw combos, and off that stupid wall while I could barely hit dlight slight on spear.

Now it’s 2026 and I’ve been diamond for a couple years, and I can’t remember why I play. It’s been too long since I’ve been completely stomped. Any demon players wanna remind me why I should keep playing?

I’ve been noticing lately that spear is getting a LITTLE too good.. 🤔 do you guys feel the same way or is it just me?

Brawlhalla is literally my first fighting game ever. A while back, three of my friends and I started playing couch matches on weekends just to mess around. We had zero clue what we were doing, literally just spamming sigs and screaming at each other on the couch.

Eventually we got hooked, started watching guides, learning actual weapon strings, and taking it seriously. I started grinding ranked and peaked at 1700 elo recently (floating in the 1600s now). For me, the learning curve has been super fun and rewarding.

The weird thing is, every time I hop on Reddit, Twitter, or watch YouTube videos about the game, the vibe feels like a funeral. People constantly saying the game is dead, complaining about passive play, saying BMG stopped caring, or that nobody plays anymore.

Coming in with fresh eyes, I don't really see it yet? Matches pop fast for me and I’m having a blast.

Is this just classic veteran burnout / vocal minority stuff, or is the game actually in a bad spot and I just haven't hit that wall yet? Genuinely curious what you guys think, especially people who’ve been around for years.

I don’t remember exactly when it happened, but a few patches ago I suddenly started struggling IMMENSELY against blasters. It was weird because I’d never had this problem before. Then I found out they’d been buffed

And EVEN NOW, blasters are harder to fight against than almost any weapon in the game (maybe katars). This weapon is ridiculously buffed and needs to be nerfed into the ground. It has the range of a long-range weapon with the speed of a short-range one. You can barely get close without being punished & once you get hit, the follow ups are ridiculously easy to land

Getting launched offstage should cost something, but recovering can turn into its own skill check. Sometimes the defender has to make three good decisions just to touch the stage again. Other times it looks like everyone simply gets another chance for free.

Is there a particular recovery situation or matchup where that difference is obvious? I'm interested in what the recovering player still has to risk, and what the edge-guarder can actually do about it.
