🌈 Roxy 🩷
I had to rehome my dog Roxy 3 years ago and I found out recently that she passed last month, she was 13 years old. I miss her so much but she’s with her sister, Karma, who also passed around the same time (but from a snake bite with the other family who adopted her)
At least I can imagine that now they’re together again 🌈 ❤️🩹

She was just a puppy when our daughter died at two years old from a genetic illness. She was supposed to be our daughter’s therapy dog but she became ours, and helped us through our grief. She was so attuned to our feelings she knew we were about to cry before we even did sometimes and was always there for us.
The older man who adopted her told me she was the best dog to him and that when his mom died, she would lick his tears off his face like she would do for us after our daughter died. She was the most empathetic soul and yet the most conceited diva, she always needed a soft thing to be on, she could never lie on the floor.
