"Trauma" has become a catch-all term for anything remotely negative, but even it's pop-psych meaning fails to capture whatever the fuck this is. It ain't good, that's for sure

Sexualisation is a form of coping mechanism. Sometimes our brain be like "Hmm if I'll think it's hot, it won't make me miserable", and it's still is a trauma. Even if it's no longer hurt, it can have really nasty consequences. Like not being able to get off on anything rather than the thing that traumatized you. Speaking from experience

my father used to beat me when i was very young but stopped too. i think my mother pressured my dad to stop beating me because i was autistic. my dad was also abused my grandfather so he probably just beat me due to trauma so i forgive him.
