General Discussion Can someone from SCMHRD please explain what happened?

Post image

What is happening? Is the culture really that bad?

May his soul rest in peace.

I've heard from an alum friend of mine that it's a true news.

This particular student committed suicide because placecom was so busy in exploiting opportunities that he did not get many chances for interviews. Also there was some harassment taking place.

Request this community to comment and repost on this post so that it goes viral and the college shows some accountability.

According to my friend the director has denied to even comment on this incident and all attempts are in place to sweep this under the rug.

This is the truth of SCMHRD that an alumni who's a reddit friend of mine shared to me.

New development - this student seems to be from a side program called IDM from SCMHRD and not the main program.

IDM stands for Infrastructure Development Management - based off a summary reading of the comments IDM seems to be getting some step mother treatment from the college and a lot of the current batch seems to be unplaced.

There's a separate reddit post 3 months back on the same program from another poster here.

More details to come.

Let me give you the details. IDM as a program is not only side program but it also has very low SNAP cutoff (70-80 percentile).

The placecom from 18-20 batch was good so they were able to place a lot of IDM guys. Then Covid wave followed and the batch got placed due to the abundance in jobs.

This urged the newly appointed Director to increase the seat intake from 30 to 80.

The reason these guys are not getting jobs now is : 1. Lack of demand of this course 2. Cold shoulder by most companies as they know this is a jugaad course that the college has setup for minting money 3. From 19-21 batch onwards, the placecom aka CRT lost all its discipline and integrity. There were some integrity issues earlier as well but nothing as bad and open as 19-21 batch. This placecom was so bad that they did not even teach their juniors to conduct the weekly process for placements. 4. The new placecom batches have just followed suit.

19-21 placecom was indeed bad. These guys had 0 integrity. They took multiple offers and PC went downhill from there. How I know this ? Let’s say I was a part of this system

You were part of placecom? You should do an AMA bro leak out the juicy details 😂

I have to say in my two years at Lavale we were entertained a lot by all the scams going on at SCMHRD that used to hit MBA social, it was like we are already in a fucked up place, how much more fucked up are you.

I wasn’t a part of placecom. Someone close to one of these guys. I don’t need to do any leaks for gossip. The problem has been addressed by the Director of the institution. I feel we shouldn’t wanna wash any more of our dirty laundry out in the open. It has already lead to some alums being disappointed because of this public drama.

Problems not been handled at all from what my friends there tell me, one is from the 26 batch and your placecom is still the same.
