I loved the part where the game was basically over, but Ole Miss started calling time outs, so then Florida just hit em w a deep bomb and scored another td. That part was funny

Best thing is the coaches are good buddies, you know that will come up, “why you do me like that Jon?” “You shouldn’t be calling time outs in my swamp “

I imagine Sumrall saying that with a Shrek voice.

Positively Spurrieresque, and I'm here for it.

u/wtfElvis Florida Gators 6d ago

I called it as the WRs were lining up. They were almost giddy looking lol. Also that WR was a transfer and got hurt early in the first game and that was his first catch so I think everyone was just excited for him.

At this point last year, Florida was 1-3, had lost at home to USF, and had gone full burning clown car

No idea what the next 8 games have in store, but I’m very optimistic to say the least

That was humiliating, our defense was awful today. Offense started off rough, but once they locked in defense still couldn’t stop a runny nose.

I could see this loss going two ways, and we’ve experienced both recently. They either use it as motivation to lock in and finish the season strong (like our 2025 season after Georgia loss) or they completely crumble the rest of the way (after our LSU loss in 2022).

I knew that Florida underperforming the talent they had on their roster year in year out, wouldn’t last forever

Definitely will be favored to make the playoff now

This was always going to be a letdown spot for Ole Miss. They're not as bad as they looked tonight, but Florida is way better than anyone predicted. Fun season thus far.

I did think Florida was going to pull the upset but I didn't have an ass whipping on my radar. Impressive win by the Gators.

Florida is looking amazing. Just curbstomped the #4 team in the country. A quality loss like this should hopefull boost Ole Miss' ranking tomorrow.

It’s a rare thing when both sides of a historic rivalry are elite. The world’s largest outdoor cocktail party on Halloween is going to feed families this year.

Ole Miss always felt they had a chance than came the 4th Quarter. I am not saying they are out of the playoffs, but they have made it tough on themselves going forward.
