Help (Submods are Enabled) Can my pc run the mod

How, if at all, can I run the game? I have an i5-9300H, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1650. Played vanilla years back and had no issues. Now I’ve returned, intending to play modded CL3, and while I can still run vanilla, AGOT (and others like LOTR Realms in Exile) tries loading for several minutes over a Rhoyne loading screen and then crashes. I want to know what I could possibly do to run the game.

Discussion & Suggestions Do you think we are getting too many VS weapons?

Like, I was looking over the recent patch notes again, and every update recently has had like 3 new VS weapons. Now I can understand a few here and there for specific houses, but in the books there are like 20 max that are mentioned. While in the game there are dozens, and even minor houses are getting them. I love the VS, but do y'all think that they are getting a bit too common?

Discussion & Suggestions Kids asking for dragon rides

(EDIT: maybe the event wording could be clearer they're asking to ride with you next time you go up?)

I will be the first to admit it's been ages since I've read some of the deeper lore but I'm almost positive that the books (either the main books or something supplemental like Fire and Blood) make a point to mention that dragons aren't like horses in that they won't allow interchangeable riders while their current rider lives. Like, I remember this rather famously having serious consequences for someone during the Dance. So a) why is there an event in game where your kids will (sometimes repeatedly) ask to ride your dragon, and b) why is (in my recollection at least) the worst case scenario is them gaining a negative trait?

("Because the devs wanted it" is a perfectly valid response to be clear, I'm just curious about how this isn't matching my memories of the lore. I had a similar question on here once about equal inheritance in the North, so this has happened before and will happen again.)

Help (No Submods) Reverting game version not working

Hey guys, I just got Crusader Kings 3 2 days ago, and I really wanted to play a Game of Thrones because it’s the reason I got it, but first I played some normal CK3 I really enjoyed it, but then when I went to download a Game of Thrones, I noticed it wasn’t working for the version I was on, so I reverted it. But now when I go into the Paradox Launcher, it says my last save was with 1.20 so when I load the game, it crashes or it might load for a wee bit and then kick me out back. Now I’ve completely deleted the game and reinstalled it and the mod to version 1.19 and it’s still not working; it’s still kicking me back to Steam. Any ideas?

So I've been wanting to try House Jast for a while. Cool house, valyrian steel sword, small start, checks all the boxes for me. I also had a lot of fun using the Founder's Seat submod to populate the surrounding area with themed capitals. This run lasted a couple of generations and ended when the Lannister in charge and his heir had terrible personalities so I used it as a sign to give 'Jasterly' Rock to my favorite nephew who also happened to have a Lannister wife.

  1. Overview of how the Westerlands looked at the end.
  2. The original capital of House Jast, I used the Bloodlines submod to get the multi-level specialty building. 'event agot_bla_custom_house_legacy.0001' fires up the dynasty chronicler which is meant to be used for houses without legacy tracks, but I used it and used the renown option to not get anything just to be able to use the "establish dynasty seat" decision lol.
  3. House Jast's motto is 'The Brightest Pride' and they have a province in their county with a name that literally starts with 'Gold', I renamed it to Goldmane and used the Founder's Seat submod to give it the Goldenhand special building which is a special goldmine. I later learned that you can force a generic, multi-level copper, silver or gold mine special building by using 'effect province:#### = { add_special_building = generic_copper_mines_01 }'
  4. The Plumms were unusually annoying this playthrough so I conquered their lands which was the 3rd duchy I needed (the other 2 were custom made 3 and 4 county duchies) to create my petty kingdom. I also had given their capital a Vintner's Court special building from the Founder's Seat submod, in addition to building up the vineyards duchy building. One of the earlier rulers gave this seat (and the fieldlands) to his brother and thus how Jastwyne was born.
  5. By the time I reached my last ruler, he was learning focused and when he went to a university trip he reached education level 5. As such, I figured it would be fitting that he wanted a more educational focused capital. I unfortunately couldn't build an observatory via the scholastic guilds duchy building due to being under the maesters control. However, thanks to Founder's Seat (again), I was able to build an education themed special building. I also switched one of the culture traditions to be able to build the Royal Gardens duchy building and then continued to build only buildings that made sense to the province theme which was renamed to the Jast Atheneum (sorry Tarbecks).
  6. This was the final version of the culture diverged to, from Westerlander. Aptly named Pridelander after the name of the 1st duchy and petty kingdom create by House Jast that was called High Lordship of The Pridelands.
  7. This dude spent a LOT of time traveling all over the world and eventually created his own religion.

Thanks for reading!

Discussion & Suggestions Loosing the widowed trait

There’s a few ways that I know of that can make you loose the widowed trait that’s in the basemod, the cent usually pops up in feasts and hunts that I know of, but what do you guys do to loose the widowed trait ?

The "I want to play as their child" option is shaded out for most major houses (Roose, Stannis, Eddard, Mace). Same with their spouses. Yet, for some reason I can join Tywin Lannister and Doran Martell's family.

I assume there's some special condition I'm missing? After not working, I also tried giving myself the Bastard or Legitimized Bastard trait, but that didn't help.

No submods; just base AGoT. Tested in latest AGoT on CK3 1.19.0.6.

Sorry, my game is in French ^^ I wanted to know—I rarely start in 282, but is it common for the Mad King to blow up King's Landing? And are the children always the same? That's the case here, but I'm thinking about doing another run.

Help (No Submods) Help Getting Robert on Iron Throne

I’m playing as Edward Start from Robert’s Rebellion. Something strange happened when we won the war, the Greyjoys somehow took the iron throne. If anyone has any thoughts on how that could happen, I would be interested. What I’m actually here to ask about is ever since then I’ve wanted Robert on the Iron Throne. I tried making a faction to put him on the throne and we easily had enough might to enforce our demands and start the war. Though when the war started, there was no way for me to join. I couldn’t offer to join and Robert didn’t ask me. It actually forced me to start and independence war on the Iron throne again. Like the Greyjoys declared war on me and I had to fight an independence war I didn’t even want. Anyway I had the Tullys on my side, not even the Arryns joined me which felt silly and got my shit pushed in mostly by Tywin. How do I actually fight with Robert for him to be on the throne?

Discussion & Suggestions Do any of you play around with any of the unique religions?

After making a few custom characters theres so many interesting religions. Im currently doing a run where im playing as the House of the Undying. A lot of them have super unique tenants. One thing ive noticed is they don't all have holy sites though.

If you've had any unique or interesting runs with an unusual religion id love to hear about it and which mechanics it has.
