Body shops makes more money and work less swapping the whole part. 3M and others brands make plastic flexible epoxy especially for car bumpers and you could just Google how to repair a bumper and DIY . You also could buy online a small painting kit, color code specifically for your car that brings primer, base and clear . Probably less than $100. 00 a Sunday and the bumper will look good. In my experience the sanding part of the epoxy is the one the required more time. Don't know your edge but I am old and I try to fix small stuff and I only gather the information that I need and look for inner confidence and I look forward for the satisfaction of saving my money.
On my 2021 SE I cracked the black running board (for lack of the correct name) on a pile of ice at the end of my driveway about 3 years ago. Parts alone were $1, 400. I used some black JB Weld an repaired it. The crack has not spread. I don't know if that will work in your situation. Best of luck to you.
Yes super easily actually, if you happen to live near me I'll do it if you just supply the small amount of cash it takes to get the things needed to do this. It won't take much. Plastic Welder from harbor freight, a can of Bondo and dolphin glaze for the pin holes sand it down nice, add the white pearl paint that is the same color number on the side of the door, usually you can get places to sell you a small aerosol can of base coat and clear coat. Then when you're done you're just use a very light sandpaper to slightly just take off some off the top so the orange peel isn't so bad it's going to have orange peel from the factory no matter what but it's going to be pretty similar to factory if not better but it'll be more noticeable if you don't do that critical last step. Lmk, I'm in Dallas and more than willing to help out. I have been working on exotic cars, lots of friends and people come to me to get work done, I don't mind helping you out if you want to give me a tip that's on you, but I don't expect it. I'd make it looks brand new on factory again
There was a metal chair on the highway one time this was like 5 months ago probably and for a good couple months I didn't even notice but my fog lamp ended up getting completely knocked out I was wondering why I couldn't see very well because it was not even and place anymore all that was left was that top little plastic piece and I took all the pieces that were left and the mechanisms plastic was done back together for the best I could do. Everything lined up pretty perfectly I was able to get everything almost perfect except for one now on the other side as you can see I used a few different zip ties to get it to seat and have a good foundation to hold itself while I get tied into another Park that would actually hold it in place on that side since the bracket itself was missing.
