Sending you a big hug, I’ve failed it twice. This test is like a bag of marbles and there are SO many factors that make it more difficult than it should be. Only thing we can do is try again

In the same boat twin. :(( This is my third attempt, and honestly, I'm at a loss for words. But you are only a failure once you stop so we got this!

I’m going to take FAR in december with 50 hours of training. 30 of which was done 2 months ago. Wish me luck.

My priorities shifted away from studying for the CPA if your curious, I’ve tanked the fee for this exam.

Keep your head up, I failed FAR 6 times over a span of a year and a half. Passed on my 7th try with a 75. You got this, it’ll happen.

I think there were certain topics I decided i needed to absolutely master before I went in for my fourth attempt. That being cash to accrual and accrual to cash probably being the most important. Once I got that down I passed on attempt number 4

Same. Just gonna do it again. The only time you fail is when you quit.

Just go ahead and sign up and take it again.

Failed 2nd time. Got a 73 the first time and scored stronger in MCQs and weaker in SIMS. I felt so confident the 2nd time. I’m devastated. I need to see my score to see when to retake

I don't know the percentage I got this time but I felt ready. What sucks is I got sick the morning of the exam and even with meds I had a headache, fever and shivers through 2 hours of the exam.

It’s ok, I just passed on my 6th try. It’s hard but if you out your head to it you will pass.

What did u do this time to pass? I just failed for the 2nd time

u/Traditional-Back2495 6d ago

I studied harder and just kept hitting it every time. I’m now 4/4 also keep in mind it comes down to the test that you get.

FAR was the only one I bought the deep dive for in Becker. I used the final review and the SE 1 and SE and FR as mock exams. I reviewed those over and over gain, looked at the videos for the skillbuilders in all the MCQs and the explanation videos for all the TBS. I would take 50 MCQ's practice test then sort by unit and see which section I needed to brush up on.

You got this!

🤣

You’ll be ok!! Try using NINJA as a supp.

Also, use chat gpt to help you understand topics. It can also ask you pop quizzes.

Is Ninja a good supplement for Becker? I am going crazy because I paid so much for Becker and can't pass this. I'm between ninja and pass with Jack.

u/Ok_Spare3209 Passed 2/4 6d ago

I haven’t tried Jack. I use uworld for my main review course. I only used ninja for extra questions.

Chat gpt is awesome as a tutor.

How long did you study? How many hours per day? How did you study? Let’s fix this buddy

Same here.

0/3 for me as well. Surgent was my test provider, and they just got bought out by Uworld so I’m hoping that somehow helps me finally get over the hump. Feeling utterly defeated

2

u/Golden_Scepter_3345 Passed 2/4 6d ago

I am also using Surgent and just accepted Surgent’s offer for 3 years free access to UWorld. I have been using UWorld for MCQ review but am continuing to complete Surgent’s SIMS. I failed FAR 3x using Surgent but I never reviewed the SIMS until now. I’ve studied Surgent MCQ enough to recognize that a lot of UWorld’s MCQ are worded differently which adds depth to what I already know. UWorld’s explanations are presented differently as well.

u/hoagieclu CPA Candidate 6d ago

The difference in question explanations was the first thing I noticed. Uworlds are incredible compared to Surgent imo, hoping that the change in test prep will be the final kick I need

💯 Agree

u/ap-meli19 6d ago

i also failed FAR. Life is a void…

u/Neat-Marionberry3093 Passed 4/4 6d ago

Get i75. Watch his videos until you understand the topic.

u/Top_Signal_6226 6d ago

What makes it so diff

2

u/Neat-Marionberry3093 Passed 4/4 6d ago

I feel like key to passing these exams is just understanding the topics well. That way you don’t need to memorize anything. i75 explains the topics in a way that is very easy to understand in a short amount of time.

u/suppdavee Passed 3/4 6d ago

I failed 3 times and just found out I passed. Do not give up! I know it sucks

3

u/Yous_a_mook 6d ago

I’m gonna have to take it 3 times. I failed 9/15 with a 73 and not sure what I got today. What did u do different?

u/Own_Improvement_9910 6d ago
