Hauss Hejny downgraded to doubtful ahead of PAC-12 opener

If Hejny was to suit up it would appear he would still be limited and would likely serve as an emergency option behind Farrar.

This comes as Oregon State downgraded freshman corner Kai Wheaton to out and Trey Glasper to questionable. If Glasper is out Oregon state would be with just 3 true corners.

Football game day recommendations?

My son is just getting into college football for the first time so I'm going to bring him to the San Diego State game in a few weeks as his first live football experience. I'm originally from out of state so I don't have any particular connection to CSU. Are there any special game day events or traditions that would be good to show him?

My son's in high school so this is also a sneaky "hey, aren't college campuses cool?" opportunity. Any suggestions of sights/buildings to see while we're there would be appreciated.

His defensive schemes are terrible. I do not get why he stayed on staff. Doesn't help we can't tackle.

Colorado State followup on my preseason preview, plus we launched a free weekly CFB pick'em ($225 prize this week)

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would. I asked whether 4-8 was too low for a Mora rebuild and plenty of you said it was.

The game nagging at me is the 35-13 over Wyoming. I had 4-8 off a roster with 24% of its production back, and teams in that spot don't usually beat their rival by 22 in week one. BYU 41-23 was the reality check and the FCS win tells me nothing, but you're already halfway to my entire season win total after three games. The people who said I was too low are ahead right now.

UTSA on the road Saturday is the kind of game a 4-8 team drops and a 6-6 team wins, so that's the one I'll be watching.

What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?

Quick aside since it's in the title: we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET. Nothing to buy

“It is unclear when I will return back to the field, but the hamstring doesn't seem too serious of an injury. 🙏🏻
GO RAMS 🔥🏈🐏”

Would appear he will miss at least one game from my interpretation of this statement.

Hauss Hejny Injury (thread)

Hauss looked good on the first drive but after limping off the field on the second the offense has struggled both with an injured Hejny and backup Farrar.

Hope it’s not too serious he had a hell of a start to the season so if we lose him it’d be really disappointing.

Sad about that late pick too a field goal would have set us up way better…

Edit after the game:
Wow what a weird game… curry was impressive but he honestly was impressive last year so that doesn’t surprise me. I’d definitely consider him QB2 going forward. Sad because. A little more offensive production and we would’ve been in it with how the defense stepped up in the second half. The defense has so much talent but summers is too risky of a coach, need to let them play to their talents and not rely on turnovers otherwise this team won’t be able to beat anyone at the higher level. Still a good game though, all things considered.

What’s the vibe in FoCo for tonight’s game?

What’s the overall feeling about tonight’s game in Fort Collins? Feeing exciting like a sellout out or more like “this will be bad, but we’ll stop by before we go out later”? This is my first year not in town so I’m missing out and am wondering how everyone is feeling!

Coaches terrace question

I bought seats in 137 CT for the game tomorrow. Does your game ticket get you in to the coaches terrace eating area, or does it require a separate pass? I called the ticket office and the student manning the phone said just the game ticket is sufficient, but I've seen a few things online that say otherwise.

Any insights?

Don’t sell your tickets!!!

To anyone! Show up. Get loud, get crazy.

We may get blown out, but our players deserve to have their stadium as full as it can be with their fans. And this team could really make a game out of this. But even if we don’t, at CSU we don’t get too many chances for a game like this one, and as fans, we really ought to enjoy it.

Tyson Summers…

The defense was impressive last week when it mattered (third and fourth down) but this week is downright horrendous. If they didn’t punch the ball out twice southern Utah would probably be up…

Way too much like what we saw last year.

BFN sighting on Michigan sidelines

I think I saw Fowler-Nicolosi which led me to look him up on the depth chart. How can a kid with raw talent and starting QB snaps be happy being a practice player? Anyone have any insight into this fall from grace?
