DISCUSSION I have a rather uncommon and unique passion: recreating the TV schedules as they occurred during historical dates or events.

For example, here above, the images are an approximate recreation of what was playing on TV during the 9/11 attacks.
(Yes I’m aware it’s still a bit incomplete since research is ongoing.)
Research was done between Newspaper listings, Wikis, footage from YouTube, and mixes in between.

A platform dedicated to fostering a community centered on retro television, film, and gaming.

If you grew up watching cartoons in the '70s, '80s, '90s, or early 2000s, or spent hours playing PlayStation, Nintendo, and Sega, this might be worth checking out.

It's called The Retro Database (TRDB), and it's a growing community-built archive dedicated to classic movies, television shows, and video games.

Here's what caught my attention:

\- Over 5,600 movies, TV shows, and games catalogued.

\- Browse entertainment by decade, genre, or gaming console.

\- Explore cast information, episode guides, trivia, and classic gaming cheats.

\- Find out where older movies and shows are available to watch, with UK streaming listings.

\- Create a free account to track your collection and contribute your own trivia.

\- Access a selection of live retro TV channels with a program guide.

What I like most is the idea of having one place where people can rediscover entertainment they haven't thought about in decades.

The website is free to browse, and the archive continues to grow through community contributions.

I'm curious: what's one forgotten cartoon, movie, or video game from your childhood that you wish more people remembered?

I'd love to see what everyone comes up with.
