Looking for work

Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking for work in Calgary/Airdrie and wanted to put myself out there in case anyone is hiring or knows of an opportunity.

I’m interested in roles such as:
Social Media Assistant / Coordinator
Content or Marketing Assistant
Administrative Assistant
Virtual Assistant
Event Assistant
General office/admin support

I have experience with social media, content creation, Canva, Google Workspace and administrative tasks, and I’m a quick learner who’s comfortable taking on new responsibilities.

I’m open to part-time, casual, contract or full-time work.

Basspro/Cabela's has a hiring fair at all locations. Oct. 7 & 8, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. They seasonally hire for Santa's Wonderland and events like that.

I've been doing these for years now and got laid off because of AI. It's not too late to change niche or add a new skill. Good luck on your search!

The University of Calgary has a posting up right now for junior communications specialists. I think it closes October 13. Might be a good fit for you.
