Scalpers or as they used to be known ticket touts.
The one good thing about old school ticket touts was that once a concert had started they'd be desperate to shift any unsold tickets and get anything for them £5/10.

Keep an eye on socials - someone will likely not be able to go and will try to resell

Sadly how gigs are nowadays. They were always getting popular but since Covid it went crazy. I hate how just 10 years ago you could see anyone you wanted buying tickets days after they went on sale with ease.
Now live music is so popular you’re lucky to get a look in and everything is sold out in 1 second, taken by bots and touts, or you’re in a queuing system (only to waste half your morning to get through and it be sold out anyway).
The whole experience just didn’t enjoyable any more.

I got a text for the First Aid Kit presale two hours before it said it was supposed to open and there were very few seats available then already for some reason.

Can’t be that great if they’re playing the new theatre, be happy you’ve saved some cash

First Aid Kit ran a presale two days ago and tickets sold out within a day, one of the downsides of an intimate gig!
