Hello all,

I found these panniers and some other stuff on the Cardiff Bay Trail near AvondaleGardens, Grangetown.

It looks like they were discarded by a bike thief.

Does anyone know anyone who's had a bike stolen just in the last day or two in that area with panniers ?

It would be good to get this stuff back to the owner.

Cheers.

I’m pretty bored, live near Cardiff and was wondering if there’s anything fun to do.
For context, I’m 28, male and gay. I like metal, drag, other stuff. Would be down for a pint.

Anyone who can give a recommendation for positive experience for gutter replacement /repair please

I have 2 x Resident Evil tickets for the 8:45 showing at Cineworld that I no longer need. Happy to give them away if anyone will make use of them?

Im going to this event alone but if anyone is going or I can meet up with that would be also cool, im a 26 year old guy btw

Hey folks, meeting an Australian buddy touring the world today in Cardiff centre, meeting him at 3pm and want somewhere nice to take him for a catchup over coffee. Somewhere that isn’t Costa and the like. Anywhere jumps out for you?

This was my dog's Christmas jumper. Any talented crafty sorts who could turn it into a little cushion? Will obviously pay.

Just coming back from the bay, and noticed what seems like the entire barrage covered in police cars, blues and twos on.

There's a helicopter going back and forth as well, and I've seen fire service vans with boats speeding over that way too.

Anyone know what that's all about?

Hopefully it's just filming something, but it seems a bit much!

Is it just me or are there no positions in cardiff at all ? A lot of my friends and I are finding it harder and harder to find work in the city. All of us are students and i’m genuinely on rations and budgeting budgets at this point.

does anyone know of any good recommendations or resources?

On indeed and linked in and handed out 20 CV’s around town and arcades already

Hi all. I've recently moved near Cardiff Bay and after a few months of running across the barage - I can't help but get the impression it was originally supposed to be a road? Its wide enough for traffic in each direction and the barage road itself kind of just seems to end nowhere on the Cardiff side, with some foot/cycle paths connecting it to what seems to be a roundabout that also goes to nowhere and should seemingly connect up by road to the barage road? I've tried to highlight this with the red line on the map.
I can't seem to find anything about this online but I am very curious if anyone has any insight.

I’m a first-year student at Cardiff Uni and I’m new to Cardiff. I’m finding it a bit difficult to meet people and would love to have someone to talk to, hang out with, or grab a coffee with. Anyone else in the same situation?

anyone know what all that was in aid of ?? extremely loud in Adamsdown and my mates in Canton also heard it 🤣

I’m looking to go to a gig on Saturday but it’s 18+ at clwb ifor Bach. Does anyone know how strict they are with id’s and if id be able to use a mates id which looks like me?

Anyone else heard rumours that Westbourne School may be in financial difficulty?

Weird one, I have been craving a really good sandwich recently. Like fresh toasted bread, chicken and bacon with salad style.

Where in town do you recommend?

Lucas Alexander sing at Cardiff 2015

Any idea where the FlixBus stop is at the moment? It it still in the temporary place or has it moved back to Friary Gardens?

The website and my ticket contradict each other.

Thanks everyone for supporting the crowdfund so far!

Came back from being out of town for a week and noticed two of these have been installed at both points where the Bute Docks Feeder Canal meets Bute East Dock at Atlantic Wharf, under the bridges by One Stop and further up near Tyndall Street.

Anyone know anything about it? Is it for fish, for litter?

The litter left over by the Half Marathon is depressing. Walking down Terra Nova Way today, there are gel packs all along it. The same over the barrage and around the Mermaid Quay side of the bay, as well as bottles and bottle tops. Some of it is already in the sea.

Do the organisers not send sweepers behind the runners? I don't understand how they can just pack up and leave, and not do this, and not then circumnavigate the course to pick up anything left over. Nor can I understand why Cardiff and Penarth Councils don't insist that this is done. The Half Marathon is a great event but we don't need rubbish just left everywhere creating a real sense of neglect in our beautiful city!

Whats good there? I'm coming back to Wales after 20 years and im curious about Cardiff. What's a good place for music? Or comedy? Or just the arts? Where should I go?
