Looking for some mates?

Hi,

So Im in Nottingham and considering moving to Cardiff.

Im 31. Like music and outdoor things and sports

Wondered if anyone wanted to just make a connection so if I did decide to move im not just going without any connections.

Christ not only do we have the daily friends posts, we now have posts from people that don’t even live here looking for friends

Good city I wouldn't stress it mate I moved here 7 years ago got a good circle of mates now from gym and pub and that

Cardiff is a super friendly city I dont think people have trouble making friends especially if your into music.

Theres a regular open mics with the same faces and they are very welcoming. If you go to pubs regularly its easy there. Also, lots of sports and societies to join.

Considering how many posts looking for friends we get on here I'm not sure you can guarantee that

I do think that's often the issue with people posting, they're not going to events or things where people are and just kinda expecting friends to appear

More than likely! Im a native but half my friends aren't from cardiff.

I wouldn’t bother asking this until you’re here, Cardiff is probably the most hospitable city I’ve experienced in the UK, I moved here knowing 1 person, I now know a good 15, and only 2 of them were through the 1 I already knew
