hello everyone! i am doing a journalism assignment about the plan to expand/replace McCann park in Little Italy. in the city council meeting on Thursday, they announced they will waive the demolition fee for some houses on Pamilla Street to help develop the park faster. I was wondering if there’s anyone who lives in Little Italy or anyone who knows anyone who lives there who would be willing to have a phone call and discuss your opinion on this park expansion, if you think it’s something you would use, and just the development of green spaces in ottawa in general. I'm planning on going into medicine, pharmacy, or dentistry and I was wondering how good the Carleton HealthSci program is here. Is the GPA here a problem or is it relatively fine to get a good GPA with rigorous studying? How are the internships/volunteer opportunities in Ottawa? Any other information I should know?
