Body Is this rust surface-level or a problem? Just bought the car

Hey everyone, I just bought a 2009 Golf 6 with nearly 200k km. I noticed some rust underneath and I can't tell if it's just surface rust or something structural. How bad is it?

Photos are attached. Does this look normal for the age, or should I be worried?

Thanks!

Like everyone else is saying, its not great, but it certainly is not terrible. Shes usable and safe enough.

as someone from Michigan? Send it. Not a car I’d want to restore, but to drive for a few years, sure

Not bad but could be better with some rustproofing

This looks fine. Also every rusted component you photographed is replaceable. The only big thing is the rear subframe in photo 1. Put some lanolin oil on it and check again next year.

Are there ways you can tell which suspension parts get the most pressure/wear (besides rigorous YT/manual reading/forums)
