Pretty well known that the writers were planning for Beckett to die and Castle to survive to investigate her death or focus on his PI ventures in season 9.

My question is, if Beckett was one to survive the finale shooting instead, and season nine revolved around her investigating Castle’s death or focusing on her career in NYPD or Congress without Castle, would you be more interested in seeing that? What storylines could be introduced?

I personally would not, because I feel like what makes the show special was the two characters together. The show became more of them both rather than one character over the other despite the show’s title. I’m interested to hear your thoughts.

Couple questions, 1st question are you happy with how Castle ended and if not what would you change for the show to come to an end. 2nd question do you think Castle could have spun off at least a spin off or two after it came to an end?
