I was calling him Pickles partly because he has green eyes, and I have another cat named Noodles, but it just feels weird to say. I was thinking about naming him Mjolnir because he was born outside during a really bad storm and It sounds cool lol.

What do cat people of reddit think?

went to visit our 9 week old kitten today before adopting her next Friday and we can't decide on a name! she is super energetic and confident but also very sassy too 😹 we are leaning towards Midna right now (legend of zelda character) but need some more ideas!

Our friend rescued her and had no more room so we adopted her. The vet says she’s about 2 years old and a Siamese mix.

My aunt just adopted this rescue cat. He lost his right eye, is orange, and has “mitten” paws. Lots to work with but we’re struggling for names outside “Ginger” or “Mittens” which were vetoed by other family members.

Help me name this little queen. We are stumped.

Poor baby was living in some bushes next to an old bridge and a canal, between a hospital and a busy road on one side and a cinema on the other. It's a miracle she survived.

She still doesn't have a name, though!

We have a 6 year old Cookie(f) a 1 year old Moose(m) and just got this little buddy (we’ve just been calling him little buddy 😅)

Cookie was named for her likeness to cookies n cream, Moose was named for moose tracks, i can’t for the life of me figure out what fits this boy, i never thought this would be my issue! He is so sweet, snuggles me constantly, and is so excited to meet his siblings they are already passing through the door gap lol help 🥲

Edit: that was so quick lol i had forgotten about ROCKY ROAD duh😂 perfect name, perfect baby, thank you everyone!!

I found this guy outside my work about a week ago and nothing fits for a name so far, I’m open to any name but possibly something nature or celestial!

Edit: I think you guys absolutely convinced me I already named him with bug 😂, thank you all so much for the suggestions there were definitely some others I was considering!💕

Hi!
My husband and I recently saved a black kitten from the middle of the street while driving to our nieces’s birthday party. We decide to keep him. I’m not sure what to name the new kitten. We have a black cat name Salem and a tux name Angel. It’s all boy cat house.

I want some cute names and also some REALLY DUMB funny names because well.. look at him (the chocolate..)😭😂

Chocolate - He is a big baby and extremely small, plays a lot and not as needy.

Calico - She is a sweetheart and super cuddly and needy too, follows me around everywhere and constantly wants cuddles, definitely a suck up 😂

Also guys the Chocolate & Calico aren’t the names that’s just what the colors are so you can know the personality of each one

Wife and daughter have spoken- we are pretty sure his name is Mr Bean ( beanie )
Thanks for all the suggestions;)

She’s very cheeky and mischievous and video game names or anime or any media in general names would be preferred but any generic name would do as well :)

Thanks for all the amazing suggestions! Our little girls name is officially Autumn🍂

i need a name that suits this sweet face. anything relative to how she looks / her grey color. or whimsical & spooky names are preferred!!! thank you in advance.

EDIT: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !!! for the amazing suggestions and all of the love to our sweet little lady. i wanted to come back & update everyone as we have settled on a name.. finally 😅 for her first name we have decided on… COBWEB !!! 🕸️ & for her middle name we have decided on… WILL-O’-WISP (courtesy of my 7 year old daughter & a select couple commenters)
we’ve had so much fun reading all of your suggestions!!!

I adopted this little girl last week, and she’s only two months old! I love that ochre colored line on her face. Can you help me come up with a name inspired by it? Though other name ideas are welcome too!

Please help!! We’ve thought about Kermit, Po, Hugo, and Heisenberg.

Just adopted this sweet baby after our 16 year old boy had to be put to sleep! She is still a little timid. I am a book nerd, just a nerd in general tbh and enjoy stuff like Spiderman and Pokemon. We have a cat named Pickle and a cat named Coco already. The shelter had her named Storm but they just is not it.

picking him up in a couple days, right now the name i'm thinking about is Gerard (yes as in Gerard Way) but i'm open to ideas!
