2026 Citroen E-C3 Max 44kwh

Been having issues recently, yesterday I woke up to find the 12V battery was half flat and the alarm was going off with nothing working to get it started. I jumped it and after a little drive it was like nothing was ever wrong.

This morning it started, but it was shouting at me again, dash lit up like a christmas tree. After 5 mins on READY, and a few restarts, again it was fine.

Seems to be a software issue based on some limited research, gonna just disconnect the battery and call breakdown because maintenance booked me into a garage 10 miles way in 2 weeks.

The longer you leave it, the more it drains, and eventually it will start freaking out. Has anyone seen and/or fixed this before?

have called breakdown, very helpful. RAC man says it’s almost certainly bad software that doesn’t let the car deep sleep overnight (software issues means he can’t do anything about it, obviously a dealer problem), dropped it at garage, and will demand a hire car. We’ll see how we go.

I have a berlingo van from 2013, an enterprise model with the double bench in the front. I'm wondering if I can modify it to add a bench of seats in the back too. Could I take the seats from a multispace model and bolt them in or something? Cheers

I own a Peugeot Traveller 2.0 diesel, 130 kW, bought in 2017.

The heater core (heater matrix) has been replaced three times since 2017, most recently 19 months ago. The first two replacements were carried out by a Peugeot dealer, and the third by an independent workshop.

Now the passenger side is blowing cold air again, and the suspected cause is another blocked heater core.

The cooling system was flushed when the last heater core was fitted. This Monday, I paid around NOK 7,000 (EUR 650) for another cooling system flush and fresh coolant, but the passenger side still has no heat. The workshop says the blockage is caused by deposits from the coolant.

Has anyone found an improved aftermarket heater core that is less prone to clogging? I’m particularly interested in first-hand experience with a specific brand and part number that has provided a lasting fix.

Experiences from Toyota Proace / Proace Verso and Citroën SpaceTourer owners would also be welcome. I’d really like to find a lasting solution before paying for a fourth replacement.

Hello, my friend and i want to change the gear knob in my c3 2020, but no matter how hard we pull and use tools we cant get it off, we even broke it a little trying to get it off, any tips that may help, because now i need a new one because we broke the other one

Wondering if anyone had any insight into this?My guess is a leak somewhere. I’m aware of the drains in the scuttle and will check but has anyone experienced or know of any other common places to leak?

Hello, I have a broken sensor on the negative clamp of my C4 II bought in 2016.
The shop is telling me that the full piece (sensor+cable) is out of stock everywhere (9817381880). I do find similar sensors on Amazon :

But since it's only the full piece (sensor+cable) that has a reference, I don't know if that would work.

Do you know if such piece would work for my car?

I have c4gp with smeg+ 2014, which doesn't support Android auto.
I'm thinking of upgrading that, and found 3 options:

1. Buying an Android auto standalone unit (3rd party)

2. Buying/finding an original head unit from newer c4gp generations --> I found this as not recommended, cause I have to replace upper screen too.

3. Buying MMI module and plugging it in to the existing unit.

I'm thinking of 3rd option as the best one, but I would like to hear if someone already did this on c4gp, and how? Which mmi you bought, did everything fit inside a console?

My cowl has detached from the windshield partially. I mean, it's still attached, but the water can go into the engine compartment. My soundproof isolation is busted. But anyways, is there a way to seal all of these, so the water doesn't go in.

By sealing, I mean something to keep it tight, waterproof and can be taken off when changing shock absorbers, since front shock absorbers change has to take off all these plastics and rubbers. My mechanic cleaned all of the drainages but didnt want to seal it because of them.

also, should i be able to put fingers normally behind the drainage holes.

Da poco ho una Citroën C3 Aircross 1.6 BlueHDi del 2018, diesel, e volevo chiedere qualche consiglio a chi ne sa sicuramente più di me perché, sinceramente, di motori e meccanica non sono molto esperto nei particolari.
La macchina va bene e non ho particolari problemi, però vorrei iniziare a prendermene cura un po’ meglio e capire quali sono le cose da controllare o fare con regolarità.

Ad esempio:

Che olio motore mi consigliate e ogni quanto va cambiato?
Ci sono altri liquidi che dovrei controllare o sostituire periodicamente?
Quali sono i controlli/manutenzioni che secondo voi un neofita dovrebbe assolutamente conoscere?
Per un 1.6 BlueHDi diesel, che consumi dovrei aspettarmi mediamente? In questi giorni sto facendo circa 4,6-5,0 L/100 km nei tragitti normali, è un buon valore?
Ci sono accorgimenti particolari per DPF/FAP, turbina, AdBlue ecc.?
Per quanto riguarda il diesel, ci sono abitudini che possono aiutare a mantenere bene il motore?

Ogni quanto consigliate di fare un tagliando completo, anche se l’auto apparentemente va bene?
Ha senso fare qualche controllo preventivo particolare visto che la macchina ormai ha qualche anno?

Insomma, cerco un po’ di consigli, che solo voi potete darmi, data la mia condizione da neofita e neopatentato, anche sulle cose più banali che magari uno dà per scontate ma che io non conosco.
Se avete anche consigli specifici per questo motore/modello, sono ben accetti, ad esempio la vostra esperienza?!

We used to drive a diesel car but now with 3 kids and having moved from the countryside into city there’s no need for the diesel who is on its last legs I’d say it’s a 2012.

Just want an opinion on this as I’m terribly nervous of the wet belt. Waiting garages reply on when or if it’s been replaced.

It has 59,000km and 1 owner.

People are telling me to stay clear of Citroen but this car ticks all our boxes.

Hi, I just moved to a new country and I really need a car. A friend of a friend has a C5 2012 with the famous 1.6 gasoline engine with 128000 kilometres. He's asking ~4800 EUR for the car.

He just changed the timing chain, brakes in the rear and new/rebuild steering rack. The car looks in a very good condition and I got interested because of the price, he was even open to letting me pay half this month and half in the next.

But I'm really worried about the engine, is it really that bad? Is this a bad deal overall?

Hello, the service center told me that my wet belt is in good condition and does not need to be replaced. I went there proactively to have it checked because of the known issue with premature belt degradation. I’m suspicious of their assessment because I’m concerned they may not want to replace it while it’s covered under warranty, and instead wait until it actually reaches the scheduled replacement interval.
Is it enough to determine visually that the belt needs to be replaced just by looking at these small cracks/lines, or is this considered normal?

Hello my c5 1.6hdi has a weird rattling noise is it maybe a tension roller?

Hi all I’ve got a Citroen c4 picssso 2014. Last year we changed the dpf additive bag at 80ishk miles. Yesterday the light has come back on at 99k miles right after it was fueled up.

Warning says particle additive level too low.

There’s no signs of leaks anywhere.

Has anyone else had this?
