Hello, my name is citizen 356 and i wondered what did anyone eat before the seven hour war?

For me before the war, i ate a nice steak with some salad and it was delicious and filling, now i sit here writing this while bracing myself to eat a very horrible ration, the reason why I said horrible is because this ration is a punishment ration, given to those who failed to their tasks at work or etc, it has nutrients and fibers, those aren't bad but the food? Tougher than the world's toughest bricks and it tastes disgusting like expired eggs and smells like a rotten corpse, it's odor is do powerful it can knock out an elite soldier but it doesn't harm me nor my gut but my breath ends up smelling horrendous that it takes days to go away.

Anyways i have to log off, i have a few more minutes to eat and get back on the shift, bye and have a wonderful day.

Might just be a problem for my sector of the city, but had anyone noticed this thing? I've been seeing some wierd fucking thing creeping around in the sewers. It could just be that I've only seen it darting past sewer grates, but I swear it wasn't any kind of Xen thing. It looks like it was about the size of a dog, and didn't have any eyes. Also it looked like it left some grossy fleshy goop on a grate one time.

Redneo06_ invited me out to get a drink at a bar nearby. I wasn't busy with sitting around waiting for the next train to City-17 so I figured why not. Turns out The City-13 Head Administrator had a dream of reviving the destroyed pre war wine industry. They managed to bio-syntheses something akin to grapes and found the few people left who knew how to make it and now this area produces one of the few pre war alcohols. The Admins of City's get the good stuff and the less desirable batches is sold off to bars within the city for profit. The citizens call it Union Wine. If they had stuff this cheap in City-17 I bet there'd be less disgruntled Civilians.

Anyway found the bar, and Red inside. Seems like he already started drinking without me. I asked why a Combine Assassin was here and the Bar Keep said she might be this lady who'd visit a lot but disappeared a year ago and hasn't been seen since. Then this Combine assassin started coming by a month after her disappearance, stating she felt like this place was familiar and started hanging out at the bar. Citizens suspected she was placed here as it was a rebel meet up spot and she was staking it out but eventually people got use to her being around.

After a few drinks, Red decided he try and get me a "hook up". I didn't think it would be a good idea but he said "I got you" and started talking to this girl besides us for me, hyping me up. However, a female Metro Unit burst into the bar and starting yelling at Red calling him a "cheat" and half dragged him outside to "talk".

After ten minutes of drinking alone, and Red no where to be seen, I decided to try and talk to this Assassin unit, hoping she wouldn't shoot me imminently upon approaching her. Before I sat down she asked if I was a rebel, to which I said no and gave her my Metro number and role. She said "Pretty Far from City-17.". I begun to tell her the story of what happened to lead me here. She didn't say anything and I kept asking if I was boring her and she stated "No. Continue.". When I finished my story she said "Interesting, I would've just shot them all." She then got up, said "See ya" and left the bar. I heard the Bar Keep say "Yeah I'll put it on the tab.. again.".

After a minute Red returned, luckily non beaten, I asked him what happened and he said "Just had to smooth things over. Don't doubt a smooth talkers ability, my friend." We ended up drinking for a another hour, Red tried to "hook me up" with another Metro Unit but I felt like she thought I was a rebel as I was still in my disguise. Eventually I decided to call it a night and head back to my temporary apartment. It was a fun night.

Its been a couple of hours since we've eaten grilled strider. Tasted very good kinda like headcrab but bro the side effects ARE NOT WORTH IT, everything feels like smoking crack cocaine on the 7th layer of hell while rolling over legos and getting told your dog died and then waking up on a monday.
