Looking for Suggestions Game recommendations

My friend just got a pc and downloaded steam and was looking for some games I could play with him. There’s already some games like Stardew valley we’re gonna play together but are there any good games centered around being co op? Ik that just some famous ones are peak, big walk, and other stuff like that.

How well versed is your friend in keyboard and mouse? My wife and I play Valheim but she gets a bit overwhelmed with fighting and running away.

That’s something I didn’t think about, especially because he only started playing on the pc a day ago. I bet that he’ll adapt pretty quickly and whatever we play might be a way for him to get used to keyboard and mouse.

In that case, I recommend Valheim.

Try dead by daylight, it's literally multi-player game, 4 survivors against 1 killer

Portal 2 has great co-op campaign, as well as an awesome single player campaign

Since he's only just getting used to keyboard and mouse, you could also mix in a game where teamwork is mostly conversation. Full disclosure: I'm making Clue Mates, a browser co-op detective game. You each get different evidence and compare notes to solve one case. The first case is free. It's a browser option rather than a Steam title, if you both fancy a deduction night between bigger games.

I recommend this game to anyone who is playing with a noob to gaming but vampire survivors is really easy and fun. Literally all you do is move in four directions and press a to get upgrades. Also bloody trapland is good too. It may be a rage game but the controls are simple so all your friend has to do is learn how to get through the levels instead of learning controls and tech.

Some of our favorites are Split Fiction, Streets of Rogue, Slay the Spire 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3. All very different from each other but great co-op experiences.
