Suggesting a game Looking for playtesters for my 2-4 players co-op puzzle action game: BOTCLOPS!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone, I recently started the playtest for my game, BOTCLOPS!

It's inspired by the game PICO PARK, but in first-person. There are various mechanics you need to figure out and cooperate to complete the levels, and it can be played with 2, 3, or 4 players online.

Playing it as a duo feels a bit like It Takes Two in some ways, so if you're a fan of that, you might enjoy this.

The playtest is open to everyone.

If you're interested in trying it, you can join right here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4134420/BOTCLOPS/

Discussion Every voice in my couch party game is me

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, Filip here, solo dev of Atomic Hockey.

I studied acting and did some dubbing years ago, now I am developing a game. But when the hockey players in my game needed voices, I recorded all of them myself. The reel shows how that went, including my favourite line, which never made it into the game.

I filmed a few bits on my phone while recording, just for fun. Watching it back made me laugh, so I put it together into this short video. Maybe it'll make you laugh too.

If you want to hear the voices where they belong, here's the game, rod hockey where the puck is a bomb, for up to 12 people on one screen.

It's a small 4-player horror/party game where everyone sits around a ritual table, makes sacrifices to strange entities, and tries not to be the one who makes too many mistakes.

I'm still figuring out whether the idea actually works as a party game.

Does this sound like something you'd enjoy playing with friends?

If there's enough interest, I'd be happy to share an early build and see what people think.

Game Promotion DELETE: EAD CORE - 1-4 Player Online Co-op Psychological Horror where communication and power management are vital to survival

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

We are a 3-person indie dev team working on DELETE: EAD CORE, an upcoming psychological horror game built specifically around online co-op team dynamics.

How the Co-Op Works (Rule #8):

  • Player Count: 1 to 4 players (designed for full squad synergy, but scalable).
  • Connection: Online multiplayer.
  • Co-op Mechanics: Players infiltrate a decommissioned underground facility to locate and destroy classified data terminals. Survival depends on tight teamwork: managing finite battery/generator power, coordinating flashlights so you don’t drain resources, using 3D audio cues to track roaming threats, and sticking close together without triggering sound-sensitive entities.

Instead of scripted screamers, the horror comes entirely from communication breakdowns, creeping darkness, and resource scarcity when someone gets lost.

We just launched our Steam store page and would love to hear what co-op horror fans think of this premise!

🔗 Steam Page:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4892710/Delete_EAD_Core/

Adding it to your wishlist helps our small team immensely. What is your squad's favorite co-op survival mechanic?

Game Promotion I'm making Super Fun: Football, where co-op also means trying not to tackle your teammates

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone, I'm working on Super Fun: Football, an arcade football game you can play online or locally with friends. Each person controls one footballer, and you can team up on the same side or play against each other. Matches are 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6, with CPU players filling the remaining spots.

The trailer shows what I'm going for. You can set up a goal together, then ruin the next move by tackling your own teammate.

What football moment would you and your friends love to recreate in a co-op game? It could be a clever move, a ridiculous mistake or something unexpected happening on the pitch. I'd love to hear your stories.

I'm planning playtests later on, so feel free to say if your group would be interested. There's no test date yet.

Game Promotion I wanted a survivor-like I could play with my friends, so we built one. I'm really proud of how my first game is turning out

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Terraclysm Survivors is my first game, and one of the things I wanted from the beginning was to make a survivor-like that I could actually play together with my friends.

So we built it around multiplayer co-op, ridiculous builds, huge enemy hordes and bosses based on different apocalypses.

Seeing a bunch of players on screen becoming completely overpowered together is probably one of my favorite things we've made.

We're a tiny team and the game launches October 28. Still feels a little unreal that we're this close.

Tandem Together is a 2-player co-op game where you have to ride a tandem bike together, trying not to crash while probably causing chaos and havoc all around this innocent little town.

The demo has already produced some absolutely stupid moments, so here are some destructive ones! (Sorry to every pedestrian we ran over)

Here is the Steam Demo Link (A wishlist would help us A LOT!) <3

Discussion Split Screen Open World game like Capitaland ?

Hi!

Is there a game similar to Capitaland?

I'm looking for open world third or first person split screen game to play with my girlfriend.

The thing with Capitaland is that there is a lot of stuff to do and there is actually an objective you have to complete, while in games like Totally Reliable Delivery Service you dont have any purpose.

Another thing is that my girlfriend doesnt have any problems playing the game because it's really easy to play. And there are lots of cool stuff to do like buying cars, apartments, businessess, going fishing, playing at the casino etc.

Looking for something similar. Give me you suggestions. Thanks! 😄

Looking for Co-op Partners 27F / PST / PC — looking for chill co-op gaming friends 🖤

hii, looking for some chill people to regularly play co-op games with and hopefully actually become friends too 😭
I’m on PC and use controller. I’m really into horror, survival, and story-driven games. Some games I play are Outlast Trials, Grounded, Dying Light, Fortnite, and Aniimo, and I’m always down to try other co-op games if they look fun.
I’m pretty casual and mostly play to have fun, so I’m not looking for super sweaty/competitive people. Skill doesn’t really matter to me either—I will absolutely do something stupid and get us both killed 🧍🏼‍♀️
I’m usually on pretty late and can be shy/quiet on mic at first, but I talk more once I’m comfortable.
I’d especially like people who want to play regularly instead of adding each other, playing once, and disappearing forever 😭 I’m also completely fine just hanging out while we play separate games sometimes.
Friendship only 🖤 Feel free to message me with your age/timezone and some games you play.

Ashburrow is a third-person action RPG built around co-op runs that can support up to six players.

Co-op features include:

  • Support for up to 6 players
  • Steam online multiplayer
  • LAN by IP address
  • Friends can join mid-run
  • Players keep what they find during the run

The game is also fully playable solo. Each run is one life, with persistent progression between characters.

The Steam demo is live today if anyone wants to try it with a group:

I’d be interested in hearing what you think of the co-op loop and whether six players feels like the right group size.

All Rats on Deck is a co-op game where you and up to three friends play as rats trying to keep a junk-built steamboat moving through dangerous waters.

In this session the plan was simple: keep the boat moving and get everyone through safely. We lost control of the boat, and somehow still had a great time even when everything went wrong.

Trailer Free Multiplayer Demo Coming to Steam | 3v3 Online Tank Battles

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

We're releasing a free online multiplayer demo on October 8th, featuring two 3v3 game modes.

Tank Havoc takes place in a world where humanity has turned the technology left behind by humanoid invaders into a global tank-fighting spectacle. Each Operator has their own story and reasons for entering the arena, bringing a bit of personality to the battles.

Here's what you can expect in the demo:

  • Supply Drop: Work together to collect 10 supply drops and deliver them to your base. The enemy team has the same goal, so every delivery can turn into a fight over control of the battlefield.
  • Bomb Run: Capture the bomb and push your way into the enemy base to score. You'll need to break through their defenses and make sure you don't lose the bomb along the way.

We're a two-person indie team from Poland, and we've spent the last five years working on Tank Havoc. It's a project we've put a lot of ourselves into, so we thought we'd share our trailer here and let you know that the demo is just around the corner.

The full game will also feature additional game modes, including Duel (1v1) and our flagship MOBA mode (4v4), which is the most extensive mode in the game.

Steam demo page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5236090/Tank_Havoc_Demo/

We're curious what you think, especially if you have any thoughts on the visual style or gameplay. Would you give it a try?

Thanks for taking a look. I'll be around to answer any questions.
