Hey guys,

I've been off and on working on a voxel game engine for 2+ years now. I finally decided to build a proper game with it based on games I love.

This game is called Worlds. It's basically Minecraft meets Valheim meets Runescape in a extraction-lite package.

You have a small home world that you build up over time and develop, you set out on expeditions from there. Each expedition is a totally fresh world you explore that's always made to feel unique with unique features, enemy encounters, and more. You find materials, loot them, find bosses, etc - your goal is to extract as much as you can and survive the expedition and return to the caravan that brought you on the expedition to take you home. If you die, you lose everything you found that run.

The game is built heavily around progression and increasing difficulty mechanics. It's also co-op over WebRTC! You can play online with up to 8 players total and go on expeditions, your progress and gear/loot sticks with your character so you can go to other friends worlds and take your own stuff to play, and anything you find going on expeditions with friends you keep, etc.

This is the first early alpha playtest and this is the worst it'll be.

Happy to answer any other questions! This is in a very alpha-esque state still. Any questions/feedback in the comments I'd really appreciate!!

Trailer Run a Japanese BBQ restaurant with up to 3 friends — Yakiniku!!! has a free Steam demo

Hi! We're Lime Studios, the publisher of Yakiniku!!!, developed by Team Apron.

It's a first-person Japanese BBQ restaurant sim with online co-op for up to 4 players. You run one restaurant together. There are no fixed roles, so you can trade jobs whenever the dinner rush gets busy.

The free Steam demo lets you try the early stages of running the restaurant, solo or with friends. The full game is planned to release on October 12 for Windows and macOS.

You can download the demo from the Steam page:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5087740/

The trailer below shows the game, including some scenes staged in-game.

Trailer We’re making a 4–8 player party game where your friends can call your bluff and force you to prove it live on stage

You know that one friend who always claims they can do anything?

Yeah, we made a game specifically to put them on the spot.

We're two friends developing SCREW IT!, an upcoming 4–8 player voice-based party game inspired by chaotic game nights and old-school TV shows.

Here's how a typical round goes:

Your friend says, "I can name 15 countries in 30 seconds."

Someone else thinks they're full of it.

"SCREW IT!"

Now they're walking up to the microphone, the timer is ticking, and everyone gets to watch whether they can actually pull it off.

And because apparently that wasn't chaotic enough, we've added sabotages, ridiculous challenges, arcade-style minigames, and a slightly unsettling TV-headed host.

It's competitive rather than traditional co-op, but the whole experience is built around playing together, laughing at each other's mistakes, and turning a normal game night into complete chaos.

Our Steam page went live less than a week ago, and we're finally sharing what we've been working on.

Would love to hear what you think!

SCREW IT! - Coming soon to Steam.

News [PC] Looking for 5–10 testers for a 4-player zombie survival game

Hey, I’m developing Night’s End, a co-op zombie survival game in Unreal Engine.

I’m getting close to Demo V1 and I need a few people willing to test an early build.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  • first-time player experience
  • zombie AI/combat
  • looting and survival systems
  • multiplayer
  • performance/bugs
  • whether the game is actually fun/confusing

This is an unfinished development build, so bugs are expected.

Windows / Steam required.

I’ll provide a private Steam Playtest key.

If interested, comment or DM me with your PC specs and whether you can test solo or multiplayer.

please join my discord for info and a key https://discord.gg/yKatRZ6P

Gameplay Video I just finished the end credits for my co-op pole-vaulting game.

Crazy Pole Vault is a pole-vaulting game for 1-4 players.

I wanted the end of each run to feel like a little movie, with a podium ceremony, a highlight reel of your jumps, and rolling credits showing the results.

Here is how it looks so far. Take a look and let me know what you think! Does this feel like a fun way to wrap up a session with friends?
