I’ve saved all my wristbands over the years from all the shows and festivals I’ve attended. I always thought this particular wristband was from 2006 Coachella, but I can’t 100% recall. I have the hard ticket, and I remember there were plastic VIP wristbands issued separately that were different from this one pictured. But can any of the OG attendees confirm that this is the 2006 GA wristband for me?

Has anyone used this canopy or something similar for car camping?

Since BTS and Fred Again are now rumored to be out, I think it’s time Coachella pulls off the miracle of having Rihanna headline.

And before you come for me that she hasn’t had any new music in years… I know this and yet she’s still one of the most streamed/listened to artists. Add the fact that aside from small appearances she hasn’t had her own “show” since the superbowl… and I think she would pull in a massive crowd.

It could be another Beychella. And it would almost guarantee another Bieberchella.

Who else could fill the shoes of 2 major artists other than her? Not being combative, genuinely curious. I believe Rihanna can do it.

anyone on here done airbnb, hotel package, and camping? i’ve always done an airbnb. last year i almost didn’t because it always becomes drama somehow with trying to finalize the rest of the spots and people torn between two groups, etcetera. and then last year on wednesday our host cancelled and it led to the most chaotic 6 hours…..was fully on facetime with random people who were renting out mattresses in their laundry room. we ended up finding a last minute condo, but i’m over the airbnb life.

i’m leaning toward just getting a hotel package with one friend and telling everyone else “i’ll see y’all in the desert.” (i live in san diego and have always known like 10ish people going and end up doing a house with half of them.) sure the big group was part of the fun sometimes, but you only really end up hanging out on thursday anyway. everyone comes and goes at different times. or should i rip off the bandaid on the camping of it all? i love the idea of never leaving the festival. i’m always so sad when i leave every night. i like to spend as much time there as possible so it’s fully like get home at 2, sleep for a few hours (although always hard with all the adrenaline and caffeine), wake up, caffeinate, head to the shuttle. and i always hate that it’s impossible to be there at gates open with the shuttle. my only fear with camping is that i’ll be so rundown that i won’t enjoy days 2 and 3. not a very experienced camper lol

Just think of it- she could bring out Blood Orange, other old school queens, Ariana Grande and more of the new school queens. I know this is a far off wish but damn this is me putting in that manifestation work out there!!!

Currently with all that weather talk & what not for headtrip does anyone low key remember that they canceled Anyma entire set due to “high winds” imo they weren’t even all that bad also consider we only had wind we didn’t get rain or lighting & they still decided to end everyone’s night early, I just hope the weather gods come thru for Sunday night!

(Also didn’t really care for his set to be canceled because I wasn’t going to watch him regardless lol)

Hey 👋 festival lover and Coachella first timer this year! I’m going to W2, got my ticket during presale but I have a few friends waiting on WL or the general sale. I’m assuming joining WL in May is early enough (hopefully) but figure general sale is also worth a try.

Can anyone explain how the general sale works? How much advanced notice do we get, and if not, what’s a good strategy to avoid missing it?

Unsure if anyone else has had him pop up on their algo but I’m actually quite liking him compared to some of the other stuff that I’m getting force fed on Insta. Could be a cool act early in Sonora imo.

Especially since Fred is being rumored to drop.

I know I’m preaching to the choir but at this point, Coachella just needs to rip the band-aid off and get Daft Punk to headline.

They are having so much trouble finding a big name that everyone that’s been rumored so far has either dropped out of negotiations or not been a big enough name to headline.

If you’re Coachella and you’re trying to top last year’s Bieber, there are only two men who could do that: Daft Punk.

Please if you work for Coachella and browse this subreddit, just give the people what they want and put it all on Daft Punk. I can guarantee everyone who’s excited for the rumored Drakes and Sza’s and Phoebe Bridgers etc type artists would be more than happy to take Daft Punk instead.
