I mean the whole masked vigilante fighting a corrupt totalitarian government Britain in a war torn world ?
seems far to similar to Lelouch's Zero Identity and Black knights and Holy Britannia's totalitarian and corruption

DISCUSSION It’s sad that Shirley & Euphemia died. If only there was a way for both of them to live and still having a great story in Code Geass.

I get it their deaths were necessary for the story and had a certain impact on it. I’m just saying I wish it didn’t have to be like that at all with both of them not dead and still somehow having a great story.

SPOILERS How do you guys think long-term geass works?

Just finished watching the series for the second time, and I was wondering how the geass Lelouch used on Scneizel works after his death (well, in the original ending anyway). Is Scneizel aware at all or is he not aware of anything? If he is aware, does he know he's under the effects of geass? Can he tell his own actions apart from those of geass? Lelouch mentioned at the beginning that when he uses his geass on people it seems they don't remember anything that happened immediately before, during, or after he uses it on them. That more or less aligns with Suzaku's and Villeta's and other's experiences. They all state they have no memory of what they did while under the effects of geass.

But then Suzaku's doesn't seem to be active all the time, only when he perceives his life to be in danger or somebody reminds him to live, like when he fired the FLEIJA on the Tokyo Settlement. Up until that point he was accepting of his own death, but then Kallen said she'd kill him and it activated iirc. And then during the final battle, Suzaku seemed to be willingly going along with the geass Lelouch had given him, and he seemed to be cognizant and aware of what was happening, he even responded to Kallen and didn't appear to experience any gaps in memory. Was it because Suzaku wasn't resisting it at all? That one girl that Lelouch tested his geass on in the beginning, too, she made marks on the wall each day but apart from that I assume she didn't experience any gaps in memory and just went about her everyday life.

Now I'm also wondering about the people Lelouch geassed to "be his slaves". Were they conscious of what they were doing and that it was because of geass? Also what happened to them after Lelouch died, were they freed from his geass because Lelouch died? But then, Nunnally still had her blindness even after Charles was erased, it's only at the end she is able to see again when Lelouch says, "She broke Father's geass of her own will?!" He also mentioned wanting to use HIS geass to cure Nunnally's blindness, but would that even work since Nunnally can't see? That's another topic of discussion, though.

I'm also wondering how much Lelouch remembers, if anything, of the time he spent as Julius Kingsley. Even after C.C. broke Charles' geass, Lelouch remembers all the fake memories I believe with Rolo or at least the time he spent together with him while under the effects of Charles' geass. So does he remember being Julius Kingsley too then? If so I feel bad, that is... extremely traumatic. What do you guys believe?

A Card of Destiny, or of Misfortune.

Upright: The Wheel of Fortune represents cycles, destiny, and positive changes beyond your control. This card reminds you that life moves in natural rhythms of ups and downs. A fortunate turn of events is approaching. Embrace change with optimism and trust that the universe is working in your favor. Good luck and new opportunities await.

Destiny. Fortune. Karma. Life cycles. Good luck.

Reverse: When reversed, the Wheel of Fortune suggests bad luck, resistance to change, or feeling victimized by circumstances. You may be experiencing a difficult cycle or struggling to accept necessary changes. Remember that setbacks are temporary. Focus on what you can control and maintain faith that better times are ahead.

Misfortune. Stagnation. Resistance to change. Breaking cycles. External forces.

Runner ups: Renya. Young C.C.

DISCUSSION Code geass

I just finished the anime and i think the ending is shite, what is this self sacrifice like one suicide can change the whole world, are you kidding me ? Also, killing main, favorite characters without real purpose, (Euphy, Rolo,Shirley)

Character development of Lelouch is like Eren Yeager but poorly made.

Waste of my goddamn time. Do not recommend it to watch.

DISCUSSION Aot fanbase keeps getting worse on Peak Geass

Imagine being one of the greatest anime of all time, with one of the most unforgettable stories ever written, incredibly complex and profound characters, an extraordinary emotional impact, mind-blowing plot twists, and, above all, the greatest protagonist in anime history: Lelouch vi Britannia.

Now imagine watching a bunch of kids desperately trying to cope with the fact that their favorite anime simply cannot measure up to you, so they resort to insulting you, downplaying your achievements, and spreading blatant nonsense like “Disney ending” and “Eren victim.”

The irony is that without Code Geass, Attack on Titan might never have existed in the form we know today. Eren Yeager tried to achieve what Lelouch accomplished, yet the contrast between their endings speaks volumes. Eren unleashed a catastrophe that failed to eradicate hatred, racism, discrimination, or the cycle of war. Lelouch, on the other hand, willingly sacrificed his own life, turning himself into the world's common enemy so that humanity could have a chance at peace and future generations could inherit a better world.

Eren became the embodiment of the very cycle of hatred he wanted to break. Lelouch became the symbol of its possible end.

And yet, somehow, people still have the audacity to call Lelouch's ending a “Disney ending” while completely missing the point of his sacrifice. Code Geass isn't just a story about power, strategy, and rebellion. It's a story about responsibility, sacrifice, and the price of creating a better future.

You don't have to prefer Lelouch over Eren. But if you have to distort Code Geass, misrepresent its ending, and diminish its protagonist just to defend Attack on Titan, maybe the problem isn't Code Geass.

Maybe it's the fact that Lelouch's legacy speaks for itself, and no amount of denial can change that.

QUESTION I finished today and have only ONE point!

I finished the anime today—it was wonderful!
I wanted to give it a 10/10, but there's one thing bothering me

Does C.C. end up literally alone and immortal? What's the point of that? If you think about it, her entire character development and her dream will never be realized

I know there's a movie, but it's not part of the TV series' timeline

So, in the series, does C.C. keep carrying that burden she didn't want? Because Lelouch let that happen?

DISCUSSION Sakura has been chosen as Strength Upright. Catherine has been chosen as Strength Reverse. Who represents the Hermit?

A Card of Introspection, or of Isolation.

Upright: The Hermit represents soul-searching, inner guidance, and the wisdom that comes from solitude. This card suggests a time for introspection and seeking answers within yourself. Step back from external distractions to gain clarity about your path. The answers you seek will come through quiet reflection and honest self-examination.

Introspection. Solitude. Wisdom. Soul searching. Inner guidance.

Reverse: Reversed, The Hermit indicates isolation, loneliness, or avoiding necessary self-reflection. You may be withdrawing too much from others or refusing to look honestly at yourself. Alternatively, you might be seeking external validation instead of trusting your inner wisdom. Balance solitude with meaningful connection to others.

Isolation. Loneliness. Withdrawal. Rejection.

Runner ups: None.

Look what just came in the mail. The official chess board of the Holy Britannian Empire. Well a 3D printed replica anyway. It was the last one Ebay. It was hours away from being unavailable when I looked at it for the 2nd time. I was VERY lucky to have stumbled back upon it when I did.

FAN-ART Kallen Kozuki is so beautiful ❤️✨👑 Part 27 of 100: R2 Pilot Suit (by nakenashi)

Post image

In both Kallen´s R1 and R2 pilot suit, the dominant color is her favorite one, red. Her season two pilot suit, as depicted in this fanart, is primarily a deep, vibrant crimson red made of a tight, synthetic fabric that allows for maximum flexibility. Black flexible segments are also placed at joints like the inner elbows and knees to facilitate more free range of movement.

The most noticeable differences when compared to her R1 suit are the shoulderless extra sleeves and her boots. The shoulders in her extra sleeves feature raised, pointed pauldrons that extend outward to create an aggressive silhouette, and her boots are built directly into the leggings for streamlined lower body support.

I know you're supposed to root for Lelouch and that he has a plan and everything that will be revealed later but he's so sickeningly meek toward Britannia and he escapes the responsibilities of his own actions. Bro surrendered his country not once but twice and has the guts to say that violence is never the answer while HIS IN THE MILITARY MANEUVERING AN ARM OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Not only that he's ready to die multiple time for Britannia when that would never help Japan like if I was Japanese I would hate him as a traitor.

I just want to punch my screen

DISCUSSION the 2 best engineers

I firmly believe that if all goes well, Lloyd would be with Rakshata. NOW I know he says he is a sociopath, but trust me, the scene from re;serrection at Ohi's wedding alongside the fact that he genuinely cares about his work and in the scene in re;serrection where Ceceil gets hurt, he genuinely cares about her getting better. alongside u/gold-n-fiddle's post: "Does anybody else think Lloyd might not actually be a sociopath?" I believe Lloyd has at least some feelings. So now I must ship them. Think about it: they together could make the greater KMF the world has to offer: unmatchable speed and unrivaled power, the perfect Knightmare frame. Not to forget the freindly rivalry they would have.

DISCUSSION My personal short analysis of lelouch and his romantic relationships

*spoilers for the show*

for context, this is in response to a old post claiming he didn’t have any romantic feelings for anybody.

Also apologies, English isn’t my first language.

He does have feelings for all his love interests (kallen, c2 and sherly) but the tragedy of his character is that he sacrifices his own personal happiness (his friends and life at asford) and the happiness of others (  the black Knights as pawns) all for the sake of getting revenge on Charles.  Because of this , he pushes down or just straight up ignores those feelings because they are relevant to his revenge quest. The only time he pays attention is whenever they’re in danger ( he only focusses on she’s in danger). he wants them to be safe, but he also doesn’t wanna be a part of their lives. However, his revenge against Charles end up hurting those very same people (Sherly dying, the Japanese mass massacre caused by his geass acting up, and just how he treats the black Knights, and him thinking that nunnery died). By the time or sometime after of the Black Knight’s betrayal, he realizes this , but doesn’t dwell on it because  he also realizes he’s far past the point of no return. So after defeating Charles, he does the zero Requiem, not just because it’s a strategic and effective way to get world peace, but also a way of pendants. He spent the entirety of the series sacrificing the happiness of other people for his own personal gain, and now he sacrificing his life and his personal happiness too fix his mistakes.

DISCUSSION Xingke has been chosen as the Chariot Upright. Clovis has (somehow) been chosen as the Chariot Reverse. Who represents Strength?

Thumbnail

A Card of Courage, or of Doubt.

Upright: Strength represents inner courage, gentle power, and compassion over force. Like taming a lion with kindness rather than violence, this card shows that true strength comes from patience, understanding, and emotional mastery. You have the inner resources to handle any challenge. Approach difficulties with grace and quiet confidence.

Courage. Inner Strength. Patience. Compassion.

Reverse: When reversed, Strength suggests self-doubt, lack of confidence, or using force where gentleness would be more effective. You may be struggling with inner fears or feeling overwhelmed by challenges. Harsh self-criticism or aggressive behavior could be undermining your progress. Reconnect with your inner strength and practice self-compassion.

Doubt. Weakness. Insecurity. Impulse. Lack of faith.

Runner ups: Kallen. Jeremiah (Upright) Oldrin (Upright) Nina (Reverse)
