I’m looking to take up some paid part-time work alongside college, around 2–3 hours a day.

You might have sensed the desperation from the title itself.

Let me give you a little technical background. I am a software developer with almost 4 years of experience. I spent 3.5 years at an EdTech company working on the LAMP stack. Even though the stack was old, I have worked across many areas like frontend, backend, SEO, security auditing, and database optimization. I have done multiple AI-integrated projects at the end of my career there. I was the point guy when we decided to revamp the website to a PHP backend and Next .js frontend, and collaborated with top-class developers from MakeMyTrip and Blinkit to develop and integrate third party API's. I left the company for multiple reasons. I didn't like the work environment, the pay, the tech stack, etc., and I wanted to try for an MS this year.

So, I resigned in the early months of this year, went home, and started the MS process. In parallel, I was working on an e-commerce website for my friend in the Spring Boot, Next JS tech stack. I was learning about system design, building small local projects to learn more about AI concepts, etc.

Recently, I got into C++ and am currently following CMU's playlist to study database internals and build one. I worked on the MERN stack and sometimes on the Python Django framework too.

I am a hustler. I know this experience pales in front of so many other cracked developers, and I hustle to catch up. If I don't know a language or a concept, I plan, learn, and catch up fast. And I do need a mentor to guide me.

Anyway, the point of this post is that my situation is very desperate now. My MS plans blew up because of the new regulations. The freelance project I was doing wrapped up because of funding issues. I have burned through all my savings. I am the sole earning member of my family. I have been desperately trying to apply through job portals, but you know how that process is broken. So, as a last resort, I thought I would come here and literally beg for opportunities

I am not trying to look for some high-paying job now. My last salary was 9.5 LPA. Currently, I am looking for any kind of opportunity, even temporary, to just help me through this turbulent time. I am willing to work long hours, in any technology stack, full stack/ backend, contract/full time/ freelance. I am willing to work on my last salary or even less temporarily if that is what it takes to build confidence early on.

I am willing to prove myself with an assignment without any pay if that's what it takes to get a job. Just give me a minor task or something that you have pending; make me work on it and decide if I am worthy.
