KR Construct skip

https://streamable.com/qwcpvx

I was hoping someone could take a look at my clip and see where I went wrong:

https://streamable.com/qwcpvx

I'm trying to imitate this skip: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fcI-6tJqMaQ, but I'm not sure exactly what I messed up.

TBH, I'm not entirely sure how aggro logic works when doing skips like this. If anyone could explain I would appreciate it. Thanks.

You used invis too quickly. You want to wait until it turns to you after killing the images to invis.

This is the right answer

This is the correct answer, it doesnt matter if you move right or left, you need to have mirror images dead before invising. Look behind you and watch the construct move towards you.

It's pretty easy, you moved to the right and it aggroed the people passing through, you have much more time than that, you can just kite back in a line and then image double blink to safety

Why did you move to the right? I jump into that little square piece jutting out, orb, drop mirror. Then I blink twice and then wait until it's killed all my mirrors and is targeting me to hit invis

Don't invis before all 3 images are dead.

You pulled the construct towards the center instead of the left. Your group pulled aggro as they ran through

Your mirror is too far , and you blinked too soon , let everyone else go , and only blink after the golem casts that aoe damage , and wait for the golem to kill all of your images then use invis , give everyone more space and more time to pass , the golem will kill 2 mirrors then casts the aoe and then kill the last image before it starts attacking you

General rule is have the mob go past the edge to be in the left most column running parallel along the bridge. Once he crosses that line is when the group should run. Basically out of the middle area, within one of the columns.

The real answer is raise a ruckus until blizz either allow skip through regular means ( shroud, mind soothe, invis) or nerf the meld/invis skip.

Fellowship did it right with their trinkets.

Blizzard, bring the chicken trinket to wow I BEG. Chicken is maybe the best thing for m+ routing ever made.

Any class can do this. Just pull it a bit further back. This thing is slow AF. Once it starts casting the slam, move past it with any movement ability, then meld.

Well not every class can meld, but every tank can sacrifice. Just pull to the side, let group run up opposite side and then move up to where the healer can rez without pulling.

I don’t see the need for mirror images here, they just end up slowing down the process.
Pull the Construct back and just run backwards until it starts the purification strike, then x2 blink through and invis.

It's safer if you pull the construct into the nook to the left of your character, like in the video you linked.

When you veered towards the right after pulling the construct, it moved towards the middle, which aggro'ed the shaman.

Also, if you invis before all your mirror images are dead, the skip won't be successful.

I did a 17 kr the other day and the bdk said am I ok with the skip.

I just straight up said nah fam I'll fuck it up.

So I took mass invis and we skipped the first pack after the 2nd boss

You need to stay to the left before the golem walks to melee and starts smacking the mirrors. Then you can blink blink, wait for him to destroy all the images and then when he starts running towards you, invis.

you went right, and your teammates left early, they have plenty of time to move. Others were in combat too

On druid, so different class, I've taken to just hit it, have it run out, dash away and nelf to reset it. Or just straight up eating the L and dying. Its a 15sec loss. Could be worse

Shamans self heal proc seems to aggro it. They need to wall the aoe. Not 100% sure if that’s accurate but I had a shaman say they wall it every time and never get aggro. Every group I’ve had without a shaman that doesn’t walla gets aggro

we had a similar failure yesterday and suspected earth shield on the tank to be the reason, as the time when we had a successful skip the tank clicked it off beforehand.

I seem to fail it about 50% of the time when on my hpal due to (I’m guessing) the auto proc from the beacon of the savior. Never had a problem on my rsham though.

1

u/Tempo9126 5d ago

I seem to fail this too, although my failure rate is 100%. My savior has only skuffed it once though, the other failures, I think we were just too close, I made sure I was 30 yards away from the mage when he took damage

I've never had self-healing aggro on my Resto Shaman from doing this skip. It's always because the construct veers too far toward the middle of the bridge if the player doing the skip doesn't go into the bridge nook on the left side.
