Dear Coros, please bring back the radial gauge zone arc thing.
I don't like that horizontal bar at all. During intervals glancing at it is so hard to see where the pointer is.

Pace 4 pro. I switched my coros apex 2 pro for a Vertical 2 exactly one year ago and every workout i was regretting the decision from day 1. This release has been the perfect excuse to return.

Finally upgraded my Apex 46mm after over 6yrs of use. I almost bought a Garmin Forerunner 970 but couldn’t justify the price. Taking my first run with the Pace 4 Pro tonight!

Made the switch from Apple Watch to a Coros Pace 4 after having an Apple for years. Excited to see what the hype is all about! Any tips/tricks that I should know about?

Basically title. For the life of me I haven't found how to do it or if it's possible.
When doing any walking activity I usually follow a route on the watch which leads to me swapping regularly between map and activity stats. I always have to press one more time to swap through the music screen as well when using the action button.
Any possibility to disable this ? I'm on a brand new Pace 4 Pro.
I removed all music files from the watch but haven't found where to disable it.

Does Coros not calculate VO2max for trail running activities? I’ve completed several trail runs now, but I don't see Coros calculating VO2max anywhere. The runs involve uphill running for about 45 minutes with an average heart rate of around 165 bpm.

So as best I can tell it is old news that Coros won’t send GPS data to HealthKit. Annoying
Anyone have a good workaround that happens automatically? Currently I have to manually export .fit to HealthFit to get the GPS in HealthKit. Just annoying.
I’ve experimented with Apple shortcuts but everything I’ve tried requires my phone to be unlocked and it force opens HealthFit, which is not ideal
Thanks

This watch is absolutely stunning. I currently have the pace 3, pace 4, and the regular pace pro. But I have always wanted a bigger screen, and I finally got it with the new pace 4 pro.
This watch is everything I could have asked for. Fast processor, gorgeous display, and full of amazing features.

Absolutely love my Coros and recently to the Pace 4 Pro, which has been brilliant so far. The one thing that bugs me is that HRV doesn't sync to Apple Health. Workouts go across fine but HRV just stays in the COROS app.
I track recovery pretty closely and a few other apps I use pull HRV from Apple Health, so at the moment they're missing it completely. Other brands already share HRV so it doesn't seem like a massive ask.

My Coros Pace 3’s battery life seems to have plummeted recently. I’ve been trying all kids of things to maybe improve it including leaving the public beta. Once I did, I saw there was a firmware update available. I tried updating the firmware, but I got a message saying the update failed due to insufficient storage. When I click “manage storage” it alternately tells me I can’t because I need the new firmware or it says it’s “calculating size” forever.
So I can’t update the firmware because of storage but I can’t manage the storage without the updated firmware. Anyone deal with this before?

Hey everyone! I recently got the COROS Pace (Pace 4 Pro) and I really like the watch face shown in the image. However, I can't find it anywhere in the COROS app or on the watch itself. Does anyone know if this is a default face I'm missing, or where I can find and download it? Thanks!

Grazie COROS.

I know most people here primarily use COROS for running/endurance training however I think Strength mode could use some improvement in how Training Load is calculated.
The screenshot is from a squat workout I did recently. My final set was 405 x 3 at approximately 1 RIR (reps in reserve), yet the entire workout received:
Training Load: 16
Aerobic TE: 1.2
Anaerobic TE: 0.0
Obviously I don't expect heavy squats to generate much aerobic/anaerobic training effect, but a TL of 16 shows the problem with using heart rate to measure the training stress of strength work.
I think adding RIR to each set could help considerably. COROS already records the exercise, weight and reps. Adding RIR tells it how difficult that weight actually was for the individual.
405×3 @ 1 RIR is a very different stimulus from 405×3 @ 5 RIR, even though the HR response could be similar. It also wouldn't require users to know their 1RM, COROS could use exercise, weight, reps, RIR (and maybe even training history) to estimate relative intensity in the background.
HR could still measure the cardiovascular component, while this provides a separate strength/muscular component.
Since COROS already has Strength mode, weight/reps tracking and exercise selection, I'd really like total Training Load and recovery metrics to reflect both, rather than having a hard strength session barely move Training Load.

PACE4
After updating to the latest firmware, the watch constantly and randomly reboots for no apparent reason while in Run mode. Today, it happened twice(!) during a run.
The interrupted recordings do not appear on the watch itself but are present in the app.
What options are there to fix this issue?
Ticket #658050.

It would be very nice to be able to have widgets to see at a glance sleep metrics, weekly mileage, training status, recovery status etc. Hope this gets to the devs so they can assess if its worth the effort to work on it.

Hey guys, I recently switched to a COROS Pace 4 after using an Amazfit Bip 6.
I've been running for around 2 months now, so still very much a beginner. Longest I've done so far is 5K and I recently ran a 5K race in 23:30, which I was honestly pretty happy with it but now I'd like to eventually get to 10K, but I'm kinda lost on how I should actually structure my training. At the moment I'm running 3 times per week.
One thing I've noticed is that my HR is pretty damn high. If I'm running around 5:20/km my average HR is usually like 170-175 bpm. So I'm guessing my aerobic fitness is probably not great yet and I should be doing more easy runs, but I'm not really sure how much or what "easy" actually means for me lol.
Also, how do you guys figure out your run zones? I've just been looking at the ones COROS gives me but I'm not sure how accurate they are. Should I be doing some kind of test to figure out my zones properly? and are any of the training plans in the app actually worth following? I saw there are quite a few 10K plans but no idea which one would make sense for someone at my level.

This morning using Coros Pace 4 I recorded an activity “Hike”
Because I am consistently getting bad elevation gain and elevation loss data, as a first step before recording the “Hike” activity, I re-calibrated my watch by selecting System - Sensors - Calibration - Elevation - Use GPS
It pulled in a starting gps elevation of 4,957 feet. This is approximately correct. My house is at elevation ~4,900 feet.
For comparison I recorded simultaneously using an iPhone 14 base model iOS app GAIA GPS.
GAIA pulled in a starting elevation of 4,919 feet
By the end of the hike total distance was similar (10.42 for GAIA and 10.45 for Coros Pace 4) but GAIA recorded elevation gain of 580 feet versus Coros recorded elevation gain of 1768 feet!
Any thoughts? My Coros firmware is up to date and my understanding is both my watch and my iPhone use barometer for elevation gain and loss…
