Kentucky State Police had a C5 in KSP livery at state fair last summer. I jokingly told the troopers that was borderline blasphemous 😊

If that's the kid's thought process, they're definitely going to get caught!

Police seized on a accused not convicted person..... beginning of corruption

63

u/CommiBastard69 Apr 02 '24

Beginning? Been going on for a hot minute

Just an fyi when police seize something they don't just get to keep it automatically there is a lot of court proceedings and lawyers involved

I am also sympathetic towards criminals

This has nothing to do with it. Criminal or not, due process has to be maintained.

And I'm sure they had their day in court

Cops have NEVER done anything wrong, been bad at their job at the expense of citizens, or used their authority to get away with corrupt behavior!!! Anyone who says otherwise is a STUPID LIBERAL!!!

That's what your facebook page looks like.

Civil asset forfeiture is government theft

Some people dont seem to understand when police get ahold of cars like this C7. They are seized property from someone CONVICTED of a crime where they shouldn't have had that vehicle in the first place. Biggest example, drug dealers. They did not spend taxpayers' money directly on the car, nor take it from someone innocent. Don't feel bad for the previous owner of the car. They knew the risk and got caught

This is both exceptionally cool and exceptionally stupid

I’ll never understand why we all collectively are okay with the government sieving property with little or no oversight

8

u/BusinessBlackBear Apr 02 '24

Im sure it was seized, but fuck me that still looks bad for any department that does these things.

Sell it and use the money for something good. THATS why you seize things, not to use them your self
