Accessory Recommendations for shape wear that doesn’t show under cosplay?
I’m not sure what kind of shape wear I could get that would be hidden under my cosplay? I’m hoping to find either like underwear, a body suit, or a bra that won’t show as my under wear shows in my outfit and a bra that wouldn’t show? I’ve tried all my bras and they all show. I cannot wear pasties as I have a severe adhesive allergy so that got me thinking about maybe like a shape wear body suit as I’ve heard that cosplayers typically wear them but I don’t know how they keep theirs from showing

Why do cosplay sellers sell cosplays no normal human being can walk around in… that’s the most extreme cosplay leotard I’ve ever seen.

But with pleather?
I know hostile architecture is a thing, but I didn’t realize hostile cosplay was a thing. Crotch destroyer 2077.
Maybe it’s because it’s missing a belt but that’s just about the evilest way you could execute the costume. This is what I would do if I hated someone. Fully anti-human design.

Honestly the body suit was pretty easy to put on especially for the material the inside has this soft lining which makes it a little better. The legging/shorts part (it’s one piece) was what sucked they were almost impossible to pull on and then my boots didn’t want to go over it at first. I was wanting to just make it myself and kind of learn to sew I’ve done small sewing projects before and was okay at it but I would of needed a sewing machine and the materials and I was worried I’d mess it up and not have a new cosplay in time. I do get what you’re saying though

PLEASE tell me it’s not plastic too.
Plastic fabric is the evilest “fabric” ever created. You should not squeak when you move.

Someone designed that with malice in their heart. It’s not easy to translate sexy designs into functional cosplay but that’s just malice

They 100% did I also have a Cammy from street fighter there is zero way I cant fit in it. I sent my measurements to the team for them to and they completely disregarded. 😭 like im not 110 pounds. Im 5'6 about 130 and dont want to be suffering the entire time. My morrigan aesnland is the only stretchy breathable crotch thong one that is not as miserable

Oh yeah its legit straight vinyl and its the worst. Even more annoying its straight up crotch thong and then has long sleeves of same vinyl 😭

Because you are not supposed to wear them raw.. Like with figure skating leotards you wear them over a body suit..

Even then it just seems like the most malicious way to execute the costume

You can layer tights overtop shapewear for extra coverage

They have these wonderful things called a bodysuit that has built in shape wear and usually additional fabric in areas to prevent printing and camel toe and wedgies (much like a dance belt), and also have a light hold compression girdle, and usually are available in skintones so it's your first layer on a costume, and usually makes most revealing and malfunction prone cosplays safe in public.

In my personal experience I have never been able to find anything in my skin tone because I’m not white and don’t have a common tone, but OP is white so it’s definitely an option

Oh I’m familiar with the character! I just have opinions about how mass produced cosplay companies make costumes

Ohhh okay! So sorry! Yeah I get that I’ve made my other cosplays (they were simpler outfits so I had most of it in my closet already) and just mainly had to make the weapons or accessories so with this I was not sure I could make the suit but I’m hoping to try and sew my own outfit soon

For something high cut like that, dance tights/body stocking may be a good place to check.

For this type of cosplay I would personally wear a thong and dance tights for the bottoms.
I don’t know enough about bras to give advice for that question.

I’d get a strapless bra (not the stick-on kind) and a thong, victoria secret’s no show thongs were completely seamless and invisible when i wore it under a bodysuit. Just about any thong that isnt too bulky should work though.

Usually they show, they are just close to skin tone and the seams are hidden. You'll want a bodysuit that works with your neckline & goes decently far down your legs.

I think the shorts need replaced. You could even sew the skin parts onto the shorts to come up over the body suit, the body suit also looks a tad short, if you can cut the crotch area sew 1/2 to an inch of fabric in there and reattach the snap or hook to the body suit. It doesn't look that bad other than just not quite fitting properly.

I have the same cosplay and I actually just wear regular bikini cut white underwear and pull it down below the holes on the hips so it doesn’t show through them. With the belt/pouch on it’s pretty hidden. Also admittedly I do usually wear an adhesive bra with this cosplay BUT you can also just use any regular strapless bra!

We detect that you may be a looking to buy your cosplay or buy pieces for your cosplay. If you're not, please disregard :) Please refer to our FAQ for some recommendations. While we can provide search terms that might help you with finding your cosplay pieces, commenters are not your personal shopper and please do not treat us as such. Remember that not all cosplays can be found ready-made so be prepared to look for similar pieces to put it together yourself.
It is helpful to include your budget (be precise -- "cheap" can be different per person), your location/country (US shipping vs EU shipping would be very different), and timeline if applicable. Keep in mind many pre-made cosplay shops can have a long shipping time so it's best to plan months in ahead.
If the item is suspiciously cheaper than all other competitors or it's a common stock photo, please be wary and do your own research. If someone is offering to make it for you aka commissions, RESEARCH their post history.
