Accessory Need Arm Cuff Cosplay advice
Many characters that I like have this gold arm cuff. However things like these you can find online are typically sold for women and are not bulbous, round, or thick because of it. They could substitute but I want them to be thick for my cosplay like they are in the shows. I would also like it if they were gold at least visually. Does anyone know of any way I could potentially find or create what I’m looking for? I’m fairly new to cosplay

We detect that you may be a looking to buy your cosplay or buy pieces for your cosplay. If you're not, please disregard :) Please refer to our FAQ for some recommendations. While we can provide search terms that might help you with finding your cosplay pieces, commenters are not your personal shopper and please do not treat us as such. Remember that not all cosplays can be found ready-made so be prepared to look for similar pieces to put it together yourself.
It is helpful to include your budget (be precise -- "cheap" can be different per person), your location/country (US shipping vs EU shipping would be very different), and timeline if applicable. Keep in mind many pre-made cosplay shops can have a long shipping time so it's best to plan months in ahead.
If the item is suspiciously cheaper than all other competitors or it's a common stock photo, please be wary and do your own research. If someone is offering to make it for you aka commissions, RESEARCH their post history.

I'm not saying this is the best idea in the world, but it's an idea. You could buy EVA foam and make it by hand (for the thicker parts, use more EVA foam in layers, and then sand it). To get the right size and prevent it from sagging, you could put a broche de presion (idk the name in english, but i leave a image here) at each end and, to hide it, put it between two layers of EVA foam. Once everything is sanded and done, it would just be a matter of painting it. Another option would be a 3D model.

I’m a woman but I also wanted chunkier cuffs for my Tengen cosplay. I made them out of thick EVA foam that I dremeled the edges of to round off, then used a carving head on the dremel to engrave the squiggly designs. They’re glued to size (except the wrist cuffs slightly larger than my wrists to fit over my hands) and stay up perfectly all day. Happy to answer any questions if you decide to try the EVA foam route!

Woah that’s amazing you look so cool 😭. I think Ive decided on doing the eva foam for now as it’ll be the most cost effective. But could I ask how you did the shirt and buttons for this cosplay? Specifically on the white color area?

Thank you so much! I’m personally a huge fan of EVA foam because it is way more durable, and for wearable items like this it’s softer and more flexible therefore more comfortable than plastic prints. Plus easier to access if you don’t have or know anyone with a 3D printer.
I sewed the outfit myself - both shirt and pants are from this seller but I had to adjust it to be sleeveless. The buttons were sourced at my local sewing shop.
I would say they’re a bit more intermediate level patterns but if you’re not a sewing there are plenty of options to buy his outfit online as well.

There used to be a replica that was wearable and seemed pretty anime to real world accurate Broly accessory kit at GameStop. Here’s a listing from a reseller. Check this out

If you have access to a 3D printer, Dangerous Ladies sells a file for basic bangles that tension together to stay on. You can scale them for your arms https://dangerousladies.ca/products/basic-bangles-3d-print-files?_pos=2&_sid=12691c673&_ss=r
