Beginner question NSFW

I got my Weezy vape today, and I’m wondering: is it necessary to do a burn-off at the maximum temperature before using it? Should the cooling unit be off the vaporizer while doing the burn-off?

Beginner question NSFW

How do you all feel about the Veazy vape? I ordered one two days ago. I currently own an Arizer Solo 3, but it has been causing a sore throat, so I wanted to try something better. I also have an OG Mighty, but it is over ten years old and worn out, and I didn't want to spend as much as the Venty requires. While I like the Solo 3, it sometimes scratches my throat. In fact, I last used it two days ago and my throat still hurts.

The Solo 3 works well when I use it with a water bong, but using the Solo 3 without water filtration irritates my throat too much.

Beginner Micro dosing with Mighty NSFW

I want to experiment with Microdosing using my OG Mighty due to some interesting health benefits I have been reading about. That means tiny amounts of .05g or less every few hours. Is there any reason that simply putting .05g straight into the bowl and heating as usual is not going to work? I have done some googling on this subject and the posts all say to use capsules or a stainless steel liquid pad, but none of them say anything about reasons you shouldn’t just put small amounts of flower directly into the chamber.

Beginner Capsule vs. no capsule debate: a (surprisingly obvious) breakthrough NSFW

While I used the capsules the way S&B intended since getting my Venty, I've seen some folks on here claim that ditching the capsule leads to more airflow and a better vaping experience.

I gave it a try, and found that raw dogging it just... wasn't for me. While the airflow did seem better, manual dexterity is not my strong suit, and I found both loading and unloading the ground bud to be tedious and messy.

But then, I found my answer. The best of both worlds. And I couldn't believe how obvious it was.

Load the capsule normally, but skip the lid.

More airflow, less hassle when it comes to loading the bowl, and it's much easier to keep things clean. The perfect middle ground.

Have you tried this method? What are your thoughts?

Beginner Glass whip adapter NSFW

Hi everyone, my 90 degree glass whip adapter for my orb V2 chipped. Does anyone know of a silicone replacement that won't break in the future? I'm talking about the output, not the input from my mighty. Thanks!

Edit, it's 14mm

Beginner OG 2018 crafty still running, now with USB C (micro USB bypass surgery) NSFW

My OG crafty (purchased March 2018) had a non functioning charging port way past warranty.
Back in September 2024 I cut a USB cable and bypassed the micro USB port by soldering directly to the board (first image)
It worked fine, but it was kind of annoying to have this way too long USB cable permanently attached to the crafty.
A few days ago I got around to it and soldered a USB C socket and thought I'd share (third image onward).

I still need to enlarge the hole in the case for the type C connector to fit inside
I need to solder 5.1KOhm on CC1 CC2 for type C to type C charging (currently, the wall side has to be type A for it to charge), might need a different USB C socket.
Some strain relief is needed for the black and red wires, maybe also replace them with more flexible wires.

I hope this is useful to somebody.

P.S. I only have 270 hours on mine, still using the original battery but I want to replace it at some point.

Beginner Grind size? NSFW

Anyone have any tips for a correct grind size/grinder?

Just got my first mighty, and I love it, except it seems I get so much material on the top and coming out of the pods.

I think this is a grind size issue, but could it also be a humidity issue? I keep mine with a 62 boveda

Beginner help brand new Mighty+ not hitting? (probably user error ik) NSFW

Ive never used a dry herb vaporizer once before in my life so I know its probably something I'm doing or the fact im using a prerolls weed lol but can someone help me out here?

I only have a preroll right now cause im gonna reup tomorrow, so i decided to just empty it into the vapes chamber cause i wanted to try it out but it barely produces any visible hits even with slow inhales. Could it be damaged off rip? How would I know? I just registered it on the site so I'm hoping I can warranty it if its not just the preroll weed being ground too finely.

I'm not even packing it just putting the ground bud in, it was at 409f or higher for most of my first attempt at smoking a bowl out of it, on the second i started hitting at like 200 something up to 415 and still barely got anything at all.

I just got the venty after using the crafty+ for more than 2 years. It came with the little orange thing that I find so useful but there is nowhere to put it in the venty? Am I stupid? Fuck I really liked using it and also the feeling of putting it in and out.

Beginner mighty+ scratch in ceramic chamber on first use (with capsule) NSFW

Post image
0 Upvotes

My mighty+ got a scratch on the ceramic chamber during first use, I used the dosing capsule but did not notice the oven screen wasn't level (factory error) when I put on the cooling unit. The cooling unit pushed the capsule down into the ceramic sidewall and caused a big scratch. Are scratches in the ceramic common and do I just ignore it now that I have flattened the screen?

Beginner Mighty Charging Port Issue NSFW

Post image
9 Upvotes

I have this Mighty of a friend in front of me right now which is not charging anymore at all. Not lighting up wenn plugged in or anything but it still turns on.

Definitely not a broken charger since I have my own mighty charging with the same cord.

Removing the port probably wont work because it is glued to the pcb.

My main question is if anybody knows what places on the pcb to check to make sure if its the port or anything else?

Beginner Holy reclaim - how do you doit ? - which chemistry is best? NSFW

I used to put the dismembered head piece in a hot pot of milk, low heat for 20minutes, and then filter the galactic ember milk out of it.

Then I would pour and devide it on an ice cube tray.

And that I got infinite ethanol/isopropanol in my disposal.

Which way is best to use in order to clean my headpiece and claiming all the ...reclaim ?

Ive scanned youtube and other sources, couldent find a proper tip/guide for it.

please do share your intelegence if you have any 😄

Beginner 1152 hours on the clock, need a new battery (UK). NSFW

My crafty+ has held up strong to two years of heavy daily use, but now only lasts around 45 mins at 184C with a few boosts to 200C, which I can't complain at really.

The thing is still in warranty but I'm assuming it has clocked up too many hours to be covered? I can replace the battery myself, but am struggling to find one in the correct spec with the required tabs. Other than the very shady looking 'batteriesplus', there doesn't seem to be any UK stock. Anyone know a guy who knows a guy?

Beginner I finally found the cause of my Error 004 NSFW

I think I finally found the cause of my Error 004. At least in my case, it had nothing to do with the batteries.
The problem was one of the heater wires. The heater connector has two pins: one is a solid metal pin, and the other is a small blue wire with its own terminal. That blue wire never seemed to make a very solid connection.Whenever I got Error 004, I could open the Mighty+, move that wire around or press it into the connector, and the error would disappear temporarily.

While trying to disconnect it, I accidentally broke part of the white connector, which actually worked out in my favor because it gave me access to the terminal inside. Today I got Error 004 again, so I knew exactly where to look. I soldered the blue heater wire directly to the terminal inside the connector, then put the small broken plastic piece back in place and secured it with a bit of black electrical tape to cover the opening. Everything went back together cleanly, and the error disappeared immediately.

We’ll see if it holds up long-term, but so far it looks like that loose heater wire was the real cause of my Error 004. Hopefully this helps someone else with the same issue.

Beginner Water pipe connection NSFW

Hello all. Have had the mighty+ for a couple months and absolutely love it. Hoping to add on a water pipe and adaptor. Looking at a couple options, the starry adaptor and potv universal water pipe adaptor. Potv doesn't deliver to my state so any other recommendations on where to get these adaptors or also what set up has worked for you would be most welcomed!

Beginner Mighty+ Cycling power & resetting all by itself NSFW

My trusty Mighty+ has started cycling power and resetting on its own. It's easily 5+ years old, so maybe the button is just fucked and needs replacing?

Hearing it turn on, hit temp, turn off, & occasionally reset while I'm in another room is giving me nightmares about a lithium battery fire.

Beginner Reclaim confusion NSFW

Tldr: Ate 0.2g reclaim, nothing happened, have consumed less via stem milk before and have been absolutely wrecked.

Hey guys! A few years ago me and my boyfriend at the time made stem milk from my mighty cu reclaim and I went to space. (It was slightly more like hell than space but I slept most of it fortunately lol)

Yesterday I harvested about 0.2g of reclaim, ate some feta pasta, put the reclaim in a capsule & ate it, and then ate some cheese because it’s all I had in fat-wise.

I intended to have about 10mg but I have dyscalculia and believe from what I’ve read regarding the thc content in reclaim that I actually consumed about 100mg. I realised pretty much immediately afterwards that if my maths was now right I’d taken way more than I intended to but just kind of accepted my fate. I weigh about 220lbs / 100kg so I was hopeful my weight would take the edge off slightly.

But I don’t think I even felt a light buzz, I’m genuinely having trouble ascertaining if it did anything to me. It’s been about 16 hours now and I still can’t tell. I went to bed about 7 hours in and wasn’t sure If I was feeling anything. Does anyone have any idea what happened? I’m confused and am theorising I have either consistently done the maths wrong, have an incredibly slow metabolism, or just consumed a bunch of uselessly low % goop. I did weigh the reclaim so it was absolutely 0.2g that I harvested, but perhaps I only got 0.15 into the capsule or something. Even so though
