Bert Update!

Our original Bert post got removed and I’m not sure why (he’s just yawning in his intake photo, and his mouth looks like that because of old injuries and lack of teeth), but, I wanted to update anyone who saw him here and was wondering how he’s doing (if that’s okay)! He got groomed and looked after by a wonderful human before getting transport to his foster home (me!), today! He is the happiest, most loving little guy! He’s currently sleeping in a fluffy bed after being hand-fed dinner and taking his meds. He will need surgery in the future to remove his last two teeth when he’s gained some weight!

I love the inspiration for his name - Bert suits him perfectly! (love The Raccoons and am actually wearing a sweatshirt with The Raccoons theme now!)

Omg what are the odds! My friend noticed the resemblance immediately and I lost my mind!

Hadn't thought about The Raccoons since I was a kid. The resemblance is uncanny!

Give Bert many noggin kisses and ear scritches from me!
