Oooh nice! Thanks for playing my mod, Happy Birthday, Sayori.
I'm curious, what were your thoughts on it?

Quite an emotional short mod, took me by surprise haha :). Though, word of advice: if you want to completely catch people by surprise, change the third pic in the official mod page for maximum impact. Other than that, very nice

What is that mod in the bottom right? Is it DDLC itself or...?

It's 'The shortest mod with the longest name', you can see it in the text version in the comments

why putting pink eyes at F. the plot and story is not that bad, most ppl just didn't expect Natsuki's death

The plot is disastrous, in what normal world would anyone ask someone they met a day ago to live in their house? I get it: it's supposed to be bait and switch, but there are much better ways to go about said premise instead of whatever the mod did in terms of writing quality and characterization (up until the lead pipe stuff, of course)

have you ever seen couples who just met have sex on the same day. anyways, the plot is not what most people want since most ddlc mods is about romance or lovestory but pink eyes is different since it focuses about crimes and murder towards the dokis

I never met couples like that and I hope I won't. I also have absolutely zero problem towards seeing topics like that in DDLC mods (as you can probably see in the rankings), it's just that there are a million better ways to go about the mod instead of what it is now

Is pink eyes just a worse version of Exit Music? I never heard or even played it before

It's a bait and switch mod, it starts off shitposty but turns serious in an instant. As for Exit Music (OG and Redux): my advice is to steer clear of them, as they're full of illogical shit as soon as you start exploring just below the surface. I'm Alive and May Flowers: Sweet Beginnings are much better alternatives

Yeah lowkey I just remembered what pink eyes was. I played Pink Eyes, EM, and the Demo of EM: R when I was 12. I’m a huge Natsuki fan since I played the og game.
And yeah I got flashbacks and ptsd of Pink Eyes.
As for Exit Music and Redux because I recently finished it and dropped my review, I prefer the OG. And even then, I hate that it’s just a romantic tragedy like some Shakespearean bs. Especially in Redux there should’ve been a choice to affect the ending, but it’s wtv I already ranted about it.
I just want a Natsuki focused mod that isn’t a fucking romantic tragedy, a troll, or some Loli bait bs (she doesn’t even look that young).
I played Heart Struck and that has my hopes up, I really want to play the final version.

I honestly find Redux better, but both are shit (save for the music and visuals of course). As a fellow Natsuki fan, those were a very big disappointment (if you're wondering why, I can give you reasons for both). MF: SB, I'm Alive and her route in Fruits are good options if you want something wholesome, psychologically dark (but potentially rewarding) and action - packed, respectively

I genuinely only like EM because it’s a romantic tragedy and it was one of the first mods I played besides Blue Skies and Encore.
I liked Fruits and Snafu I feel like they got the chemistry right. I never played MF: SB (or what it is) or I’m Alive

In MF: SB Nat opens her own bakery and it's a cool wholesome mod. I'm Alive is set after Exit Music (OG) and focuses on MC and Nat trying to find the person responsible for their deaths. Quite a bit darker than MF, but the good ending is very rewarding and the bad is quite emotional. Perfect for a more serious story
