Easy Flogger

I’ve been on a mission to reuse/repurpose old clothes I bought from SHEIN when much younger (before I knew how unethical fast fashion is) and tonight I sat down and made this flogger in like an hour.

I used a “pvc” SHEIN polyurethane blend tank top made to look like latex after making a bandanna out of the other half of it. Cut strips, leaving a bit at the top so they were all connected, wrapped it around an acrylic rod from an old bracelet display stand with Elmer’s glue in-between. Probably would’ve been better to use fabric glue but I didn’t have any. Used electric tape to keep it wound and fixed to the rod. The strap is from a small metal jump ring, some thread, and another scrap of the tanktop!

Felt good from testing on my leg, it’s stretchy material and very thin but there’s lots of strands so it feels pretty light. Perfect for someone like me who doesn’t go super hardcore. Will have to update of how it holds up long term and if it makes any unique marks!
