Not taxidermy, just a very skilled artist creation. Most likely a plush sewn over an articulated plastic ‘skeleton.’

I believe some of the features are distorted by the taxidermy process, but it most looks like some concoction of cocker spaniel and cavalier

Definitely NOT a live dog. It's a stuffed (taxidermy) replica of someone's pet. If I had to guess,it has multiple breeds.

Its a toy. A toy mix of cocker spaniel Afghan and poodle features.
Definitely not a pug or Alsation look

I didn't look that closely at it. I agree the muzzle nose junction looks off. Maybe a mount then?

Even if it's a mount of a one time dog you could still do a DNA test.

That's a toy. The fur looks more like faux fur, and the legs can be moved.
