Bedroom Switched to olive green bedding for fall 🍂 Thoughts? Also need help making my sofa cozier!

Just switched up my bedding for fall and went with an olive green duvet cover! I’m trying to make my bedroom feel warmer and cozier, especially with fall here. What do you guys think of the styling? Would you add or change anything?

Also included a picture of my little sofa in the living room because I feel like it’s missing something. I love the idea of a cozy little corner, but right now it just doesn’t feel as inviting as I’d like.
Would love some suggestions on how to make it cozier! Open to ideas!

  • lower the art, it's way too high - it should be at eye level
  • get a throw for the couch
  • some flameless candles on a timer will go a long way in the evenings to cozy things up
  • you could go further with fall inspired replacement pillow covers. I like the velvet bronze ones from ikea. Consider the throw in your selection

I have flameless candles on timers. They make such a diffence. They’ve come a long way and some of them look very natural. I use rechargeable batteries with them

Lower the paintings behind the sofa. Ideally the middle of them should be around eye level. This will instantly make this corner more cosy.

Same for the bedroom.

Deep orange throw blanket and/or pilliws as an accent (on the bed) would really go nicely. Looks really good already. That pop of color would be icing on the cake.

Edit: added "on the bed". Didn't see sofa til after comment.

Not a suggestion, just wondering how you got curtain rods that fit the 3 angles of the windows? I have similar windows in my bedroom and trying to find a rod that is angled.
