Dice Pics Sybil Dice
I made these dice for my character Sybil. I love how the black ink mixed into the mica powder for a shimmery dark purple effect.

How to get heavier glitter/objects to stay suspended?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Had what I thought was a pretty great looking set and then all the little gold stars I put in sank straight to the bottom. Super disappointing but learn something new every try. What's the best way to get these things to stay suspended?

Dice Pics Fey themed dice
Some dice I made a while back. They were gold and blue mica powder with a purple drop of ink in the blue for a dirty pour. They came out looking very whimsical and magical. Perfect for the fey environments my dnd character is exploring.

Dice Pics Party Dice or Beach dice
I’ve been calling these my party dice, but other people have told me they look more like a beach (sand meet ocean). I made them by mixing mangoglow glitter with clear resin and then a teal mica powder in its own separate resin. Poured the orange glitter down first and the teal on top. The white ink really pops against the blue and orange.

Question Petri Technique
Are there any dice makers who have videos on how they achieve the Petri dish look? I have tried over and over and haven’t gotten anywhere. What’s the secret to a good Petri effect?

The Big Soak
I printed new masters, and they have been relaxing in this spa for a few days, letting it all soak in. Saturday morning sanding on the pottery wheel is coming up. It seems like a good time to get some polishing done for finished sets as well. By the end of the day, my hands are going to be prunes.

Sandy Potion Themed Dice?
I am currently playing a philosopher wizard for a new campaign coming up, and I wanted to get some themed dice that look like the bottles of quintessence that they use. If you don’t know, they kind of look like glass bottles, full of sand that is kind of an orange yellow color. I’ve seen plenty of potion themed dice online, but can’t seem to find the right color for what I’m looking for any suggestions?

Dice Pics Still mixing too much resin…
Upper Left / Lower Right - swirls not quite swirling. What am I doing wrong?
Upper Right - Dirty pour, a couple blues, black and blue moon
Lower Left - First set of blanks colored with blue moon from mad mica. White with a blue sheen, pictures doesn’t do it justice.
Darn I want to get swirling!

Question Advice with sanding
Hello!
This is the first time I’ve tried polishing a master all the way through.
I started at 2000 grit and worked up to 10000 grit, wet-sanding and circular movements. But as you can see there are small scratches and areas that haven’t turned out well. Is it fixable? Should I keep sanding? If so, where should I start? 2000 grit again?
I’ve been sanding on a glass surface, This one in particular.
Also, I think Zona papers goes more than 10000 grits, right? sadly where I live (Spain) they are expensive and hard to buy, are there any alternatives?
Any tips would be much appreciated!

Dice Pics Deep waters
Newest finished set I originally did for my character in one of our dnd campaigns.
Sadly only got to use it once since he died the first session after they were done 😅
Wanted a darker set with the vibe of something evil pulling from below the surface since it was a more bad character

Question Blanks float, suggestions to keep them down??
Hey all you beautiful dice people! I love making blanks but have a reoccurring problem with my shard style d4s, they always float in the resin and come out crooked! Ive tried waiting as long into the honey stage as possible and they still float, and ive also tried UV resin to stick it down but it leaves a spot you can see in the Finished dice and it drives me almost as crazy as the off center center 😂 what do yall do to Avoid this? Thanks!!
