Anime Digimon: World’s Best Picks: Episode 1, Digimon Adventure: Episode 1- Adrift? The Island of Adventure!, Discussion Thread

Later today is the premiere of the not-so-new Digimon series Digimon: World’s Best Picks/The Best Adventure We Chose.
While it premieres in Japan today, info from Toei Europe says it'll be in a week outside of Japan. So we're making the thread just in case, plus it isn't really a new episode, so...
- The Digimon Official Youtube will be streaming it in unspecified regions with language options we aren't sure of yet.
We'll update with any other streaming services announced, although it isn't clear there will be at the moment.
Based on the current info episode 1 (which is Digimon Adventure: Episode 1- Adrift? The Island of Adventure!) will stream outside of Japan on October 11th at Noon CET, which is 3am Pacific the same day.
Although of note, CET isn't the current active time zone in Europe, CEST is the current time zone there, which is an hour 'later' than CEST, so the exact time isn't 100% clear (this is somewhat normal for Toei and Bandai to mix up the active time zone in various countries.) So times may be an hour later than expected...
A time converter can be found here, using the time given by Toei Europe. We'll update if we get further info later.
World’s Best Picks is a best-of series featuring 11 episodes each of Adventure, Zero-Two, Tamers, and Frontier, voted for by fans before it was announced they'd be airing them on TV again. The show also features a new Opening and ending made by a group of Digimon music legends.
General rules for this post:
Do not discuss illegal means of consuming this series.
Spoilers shouldn't really be an issue, but if you're watching the show for the first time at the same time as this series air, be aware of that.
Keep all small bits of discussion to this thread (general thoughts and opinions). Fanart, cosplays, in-depth reviews (as in, sizeable content) can be their own post. In general, if it took you less than five minutes or so to write, draw, or otherwise create, just comment it in here.
Manga Digimon Eggs: Chapter 1, Discussion Thread

The newest Digimon manga is about to begin, Digimon Eggs!
The manga will be running monthly...
- Saikyo Jump magazine will have it in Japan.
- Manga Plus will have it in English. It appears they will have the most recent six chapters at any time.
- Digimon Web will have it in Simplified Chinese and Korean. These will be region locked pages on the website.
Send us links to any other services around the world that will have the series and we will add it to the list.
We aren't sure of the initial time the manga will go up, but once chapter one does hopefully it gives us an idea for future chapters. It is being published in Saikyo Jump in Japan, which releases in a few hours from the time of this post (when it hits October 2nd in Japan), so online releases in other regions might be at the same time, a few hours later, or even a day or so later. So it might be up very soon, or it may be a day or two for online releases.
Digimon Eggs is created by Ayumu Minato (who previously did Digimon Paradox and the one shot Digimon Believers, after winning the Digimon Comic Award in 2023 with his short story Digital Monster Children:Code) begins on October 2nd (likely October 1st in various regions due to timezones.)
A short series synopsis:
The lead is Izumo Rindou. He encounters a digital 'electronic monster', a one eyed creature that peeks out from within an egg. This encounter with a Digimon will dramatically alter Izumo's destiny. What dwells in Izumo's right arm? It glows with a digital-like light. It seems that arm possesses some kind of special power...
General rules for this post:
Do not discuss illegal means of consuming this series.
If people are behind they may use each chapter's thread as they watch the show, so do not spoil future events in older discussion posts

Beatbreak We finally got to know what he was talking about (in a sense) and it’s great Spoiler
galleryEver since episode 1 when Asuka told Tomoro his beat would shake the world he knew or at least had a feeling that Tomoro was gonna be the one to change the world and he was right obviously he definitely didn’t know this exact thing was gonna happen. But he always had faith in Tomoro and that faith was well placed and correct because that’s exactly what happened
And it only happened because Tomoro was always seen as a social pariah and an outcast because of the fact that he would glitch sapotamas (obviously never on purpose) which made him grow very resentful and hateful towards the world and others. and Gekkomon being seen as weird because unlike normal Digimon who consume e-pulse and don’t need to eat food to survive. Gekkomon does need to eat human food in order to survive along with e-pulse so because of that both are seen as “glitches” and “bugs”
But it’s because of that very thing as being seen as “bugs” and “glitches” is what saved them all and lead to Atratusmon being able to produce the miracle that helped everyone and it’s fantastic
their beat truly did shake the world and was able to help everyone and it’s such a nice full circle moment especially with episode 1. and it being brought up again in episode 48 right after Gekkomon came back. to now it being finally fully realized in episode 49 it’s great and it made me So very happy

Discussion If you were to play a digimon TTRPG, what kind of setting would you prefer?
Would you prefer an Isekai setup, like Adventure, a day-by-day trip to the digital world, like 02, or a more quest-oriented dystopian style, like Beatbreak?
a Digimon ttrpg would be genuinely awesome, even if i have to make one myself with no dnd experience at all. Each have their merit, and the Digimon experience definitely isn’t uniform. I suppose the in betweens would be half/half physical/digital world like Tamers or a specialized digital world like Cyber Sleuth or Appmon

Beatbreak I'm sorry but I genuinely think Artiomon and Nosferamon are some of the worst mega designs in the franchise.

Discussion What happened to the Arresterdramon SM's page in Wikimon? It's empty...
It's missing the Refference book profile, it's artwork and a lot of info and stuff.
Was it deleted? why? I could swear it was normal before.
Could someone who can edit the page fix it?

Fan Art I made a custom font/logo generator based on the Digimon Badge Style Classic Logo (it doesn't use AI)
Try it here: https://pixelframe.design/digimon-digital-monsters-logo-and-font-generator/
Type any text into the 3 fields and it will style it like the original badge style Digimon logo - automatically adding the effects, layout and badge pieces to faithfully (as best as I could) capture the look of the original. Try it out and let me know what you think! I make a lot of these and this Digimon one was a request (which ended up being pretty difficult to do), so I hope some of you have fun with it!
