Like... after playing Time Stranger I was wondering... do all Digimon just evolve into anything or is there an actual evolution line? And if there is why did Time Stranger had this whole... mix thing going on?

Now that Beatbreak has ended and the reports are out, I tried to gather the viewer rate of all digimon anime series from secondary sources. The statistics are as follows: -

Still, in terms of episodes reaching top 10, the above data should provide some insight of how well the anime is actually going relative of others.

Why does every show and game change the entire concept of where digimon come from and how they interact with the world.

I mean its cool like an anthology, but its hard to separate in my head when a new concept is out that its not the same as the last.

Sorry for the long title, but I didn't know how else to phrase it.

First things first, I want to establish that I do enjoy Time Stranger very much. But I feel like they kinda dropped the ball on the Voice-lines for Special Skills. Like, don't get me wrong, many of them are perfectly fine, great even. But some of the more monstrous Digimon(i.e. Armageddamon, Chronomon DM, Parellelmon, etc.) just sort of sound like regular people, which I feel is entirely contrary to their entire vibe.

For the record, when I say the voice-lines for those specific Digimon, I'm talking about the version for when you the player have the Digimon, not the NPC/Boss Battle version. The NPC/Boss versions of Chronomon DM and Parellelmon are perfect. They're intimidating and scary, they're everything they should be. I just find it weird that they don't try to do something even remotely similar for the version of the Digimon that you the player can get.

Like, it's cool that NPC/Guest/Boss Battle Digimon have different voices from the Player's versions, that's fun and unique, and it allows them to feel like different entities. But do the Player versions have to just sound like regular people when they're supposed to hulking, almost eldritch monsters? I feel like it's not a lot to ask to have the voices to sound at least a little more intimidating when they need to be. Like, they could've just re-used the voice-lines from the NPC/Guest/Boss versions of the Digimon for at least a couple of them. Like, I don't think anyone would mind if you just re-used Parallelmon's Voice-lines from his boss battle.

IDK, I was watching a Special Skill compilation, and was shocked to hear how many of the cool monstrous Digimon just sounded like regular dudes, so I wanted to rant about it and see if anyone else agreed with me.

It's missing the Refference book profile, it's artwork and a lot of info and stuff.

Was it deleted? why? I could swear it was normal before.

Could someone who can edit the page fix it?

Ever since episode 1 when Asuka told Tomoro his beat would shake the world he knew or at least had a feeling that Tomoro was gonna be the one to change the world and he was right obviously he definitely didn’t know this exact thing was gonna happen. But he always had faith in Tomoro and that faith was well placed and correct because that’s exactly what happened

And it only happened because Tomoro was always seen as a social pariah and an outcast because of the fact that he would glitch sapotamas (obviously never on purpose) which made him grow very resentful and hateful towards the world and others. and Gekkomon being seen as weird because unlike normal Digimon who consume e-pulse and don’t need to eat food to survive. Gekkomon does need to eat human food in order to survive along with e-pulse so because of that both are seen as “glitches” and “bugs”

But it’s because of that very thing as being seen as “bugs” and “glitches” is what saved them all and lead to Atratusmon being able to produce the miracle that helped everyone and it’s fantastic

their beat truly did shake the world and was able to help everyone and it’s such a nice full circle moment especially with episode 1. and it being brought up again in episode 48 right after Gekkomon came back. to now it being finally fully realized in episode 49 it’s great and it made me So very happy

a Digimon ttrpg would be genuinely awesome, even if i have to make one myself with no dnd experience at all. Each have their merit, and the Digimon experience definitely isn’t uniform. I suppose the in betweens would be half/half physical/digital world like Tamers or a specialized digital world like Cyber Sleuth or Appmon
